He has always had problems with boxers. RJJ can not only box but has some decent power.

    Thoughts...

Because he has balls. Look at his resume has Tito ever been a fighter to run from anyone on the face of the planet? Regardless if he has gotten his ass handed to him, he also handed many more fighters the number 1 ass kicking of their entire life. Nuff said. Tito has a thorn in his side and he really is trying anything he can to leave boxing on a good note instead of such a bad one. Personally I don't think its about money, Tito has made tons of money and he lives on a little island wtf is he going to spend it on?? Lets just say Tito doesn't live the Mayweather lifestyle: "Flashy"...

I don't think he can beat Roy, He only has a punchers chance but even that is unlikely. Roy should be able to hurt Trinidad a lot easier than Trinidad should be able to hurt Roy.

Trinidad is a fighter that seeks challenges, unlike some of our top p4p fighters nowadays Trinidad is more about being remembered by his fans as a warrior that never ducked anybody. Probably the last fan pleaser of our decade.

Cos Tito was told that the fight would be for a good cause and indicated that the fight with jones would do really well for breast cancer and it wont do much damage to your career to say that you have faced roy jones jr n if he beats him then damn he will improve his legacy like ten folds

not really that much. If Tito won It would mean more for Tito than anything. He wants to go out of boxing on a win, and yes he is donating a portion of his money to a breast cancer foundation.

He didn't really challenge RJJ. He challenged Don King and asked him for a big fight and Don gave him the solution: fight another nearly shot legend on PPV in a match that cannot tarnish his legacy at all if he loses, but could improve it if he wins.

But Tito has been tough and brave as hell when it come to taking on challenges in his career. One great example is when he fought Wright. Winky was a stylistic nightmare for Tito, but he still took the fight at a time where he could make a lot of money fighting anybody.

Tito even gave Winky Wright 1 million dollars from his own purse so Winky would stop complaining about the money he was going to make, and then the fight was signed. Winky respects Tito for doing that.

Tito is a bad ass. Anyone that Questions Tito's integrity or motivations for taking this fight should be slapped, There is no evidence from his entire career to give us the notion that he is doing this for money or for any other bull**** reason.

I guess he wants money so he can be thrown in his own grave with it, because from what has been shown, the dude doesn't spend it.

Even if he's not doing it all for the money, obviously he's doing part of it for the money. But who cares? He deserves the money and what's wrong with wanting a big money fight? The only time it bothers me is when fighter A fights fighter B only because he's getting more money for it than fighting fighter C, who is a bigger threat but not as big of a draw. I hope that made sense. But that doesn't apply to this fight. I think he misses being in the spotlight even more than he misses the big money involved with PPV fights. You could tell he absolutely loved walking out in front of his fans and fighting in dramatic fights like almost nobody else did. It reminds me of the Manny Pacquiao from a few years ago.

Then Tito can make more. Just because a person is rich it doesn't mean they'll pass up on an opportunity to make more.

It's tough for fighters to stay retired. It's kind of strange to me why people question so often why fighters come back. It's not exactly easy to stay away from a sport you've been competing in since you were a little kid, especially when you're used to fans cheering for you.
