    Aye.

I gave it to DeGale as did 12 out of 15 in the scorecards thread after the fight. The other 3 had it even.

I reckon Ward hits well harder than DeGale. Better punching
technique. On the subject Andre Ward will beat most people
he faces because of his ring iq. He can mix it up, either jab and box
or inside dirty game. Think he will outpoint Froch, but who does
everyone want him to face next? I wanted to see him fight Dirrell
but that's not happening. Hopkins? Probably be a borefest but
    interesting for hardcore fans.

Strange reaction from a lot of people on this comment from Jorge.

God forbid someone has the ambition to want to achieve more than their talent may warrant.

I have a lot of time for Dos Santos Groves & its not that long ago that the majority of boxing fans thought he would beat Degale, then predicted he would get destroyed & celebrated his victory. What a fickle lot we are.

In 18months time almost anything could happen, Ward could get beat by Froch, abandon his church & be a pennyless crackhead by then. Whatever happens in the future I wish Jorge all the best, as he grows, improves & matures who knows what will become of his career. Would you prefer him wishing his next fight was Paul Smith in 12 months time on PPV?

    Good on George.
He'll take a beating but a fighter in this division not aiming for a crack at Andre, isn't worth a hoot.

I take it he doesnt think Froch has a chance against Ward. Groves did well to beat DeGale but imo James fought a terrible fight and George fought out of his skin. (yep, i still rate degale a better fighter than him) He doesnt have the talent to go to world level imo but props to the lad for at least aiming high

Style wise Degale stands a better chance at beating Ward.

This considering Ward is still champ. that being said Groves would be KO'd by Froch too, or Kessler, **** even Abraham would do ok. Groves needs to show something real special before making these statements

Exactly. There's been worse challengers for a title by British boxers in recent years, at least Groves is showing ambition (unlike some that could be mentioned).

Love the guy but I doubt he will be ready for Ward, Froch, Kessler or Bute in 18 months. I think he can challenge for a world title, but stick with an easier Mark. Well at least he's got some balls, more I can say for some fighters

The only way Geroge ought to go anywhere near Ward is if Froch beats the crap out of him first.
