I like you as a poster mate but this is just ridiculous imo. Give Mundine a break ? You must be out of your mind. He is just chasing gimme fights these days while talking it up. He could have fought Kessler for a title but didn't, he could have fought Golovkin for a title but didn't. He continually talks of the Cottos and Mayweathers of this world while he fights bums and nobodies and in Garth Woods case, gets KTFO.
Mundine was very talented in his prime but that was a long time ago now. He is 36 yrs old now and fighting at an unnatural weight. He knows his level and has no interest in stepping up to the plate.

TROUT UPDATE: Aussie Anthony Mundine has become the No. 1 “mandatory” challenger to Las Crucen Austin Trout’s WBA junior middleweight title.

In the often-strange world of professional boxing, that means a bout between the two likely will happen later and not sooner.

The two camps were in negotiations for a fight in Australia on Aug. 24. But Trout’s manager, Houston’s Bob Spagnola, said Mundine’s new status as the No. 1 challenger complicates things.

“We had a deal worked out to fight him (next month),” Spagnola said, “but when he became No. 1, he wanted to change the deal. So we’re definitely going to fight him, but not right now.”

Spagnola and Greg Cohen, Trout’s promoter, are looking for a title defense in the interim. A title-unification bout with WBO 154-pound champion Sergiy Dzinziruk has been discussed.

Is it Any worse than calling out Hopkins and being knocked out and dominated by Tarver? take in mind Hopkins dominated Tarver. Its the same imo, so both of them are playing at it, i know this. However Danny has never tried to get a legit title holder out here to fight, not once and to me that speaks volumes. YEs Mundine is past his prime they both are, lets see what he brings us his next fight because alot of eyes are on Mundine. He needs this title shot more than ever, he should do all he can to make it happen but he should not be forced to sign away his next three fights to his opponents promoter, thats what the issue is all about, never mind the trival twisted sht.

Trout needs to come out and state there is no 3 fight options that Mundine isnt telling the truth, only THEN shall it get intresting but for me, i feel Trouts people are looking for a way out, you dont demand a 3 option fight Deal if you think your boy is going to win, you take the money and RUN with it! Trout wont get paid more in USA, we really dont know whats going on until we see contracts or offical documentation pertaining to offers made.

Its the same as BJ flores weight, people saying it was it wasnt, he was forced he wasnt blah blah, u dont really know until you see the contracts. Got to give him props for even geting it this far m8, has Danny got Negotiations going with Cunningham? Huck etc? He wouldnt Dare because he knows he is not a CW and will get punched up badly. Mundine did the same thing in some ways and its why he droped down in weight but imo it worked against him.

    thats my take on it

...looks like the nut-huggers have to hope Trout doesn't lose his title to Dzinziruk :yep.
