Marco Antonio Barrera next for Brandon Rios?

    Rios has a fight set for the Pacquiao Vs. Marquez undercard. So far it is a TBA. Marco Antonio Barrera wants a title shot. The fight has been discussed and it may happen.




    I would for sure not prefer that opponent, Brandon Rios is fast, and slick. Somebody who sweeps through Miguel Acosta, Urbano Antillion, and Jorge Teron without 1% of trouble is impressive. Barrera looked great in his last fight, but he was fighting a nobody, Barrera still has talent weather you know it or not. I would recommend an easier fight such as MiGuEL VaZquEz. just like I would with El Terrible.

    Vazquez is a safer bout. I think Rios could hurt him. Vazquez I would actually give him a slight edge.

    i support rios but against MAB, i have to root for Barrera

    I hope not..Rios is one of my favorites currently, but i do NOT want to see one of my all time favorites in Barrera get battered.

    1) Rios is not slick or fast.

    2) Miguel Acosta completely outboxed Rios for half of the fight.

    3) Barrera didn't look great in his last fight

    4) Barrera is shot.

    Not sure I agree with that. But I do with the Barrera thing. Part of me is wishing we may see another Maidana-Morales, but it's very unlikely. Hopefully they don't make this.

    WTF? Why are people trying to make Rios-Barrera and Khan-Morales when its obvious we should be getting Barrera-Morales IV?

    would it ruin a trilogy tho?
    my theory that maybe barrera could use the boxing technique he was using at the end of his heydays could frustrate rios i cant see him winning at this stage but i would like him to have his last shot now and walk away for good its painful to see how old he is now
