The Ring rates Boytsov at #8 whereas Fury has still not earned contender status despite shutting Chisora out who is way better than anyone Boytsov ever fought. Not saying Chisora's particularly talented but the bums Boytsov has fought can no way warrant a place in the top 10 no matter how weak the division is.

Faerun - did you even out on your bets this weekend (Fury and Judah)?

Glad to see I was wrong about Fury. As for Zab - he is forever a B-level fighter who talked a good game.

Fury is gaining clout, yes. He should certainly be ahead of Boystov, without question.

Naw, I lost money this weekend. I was a little disappointed Fury didn't stop Chisora as I predicted as he was obviously superior but then again Judah got totally blow out so no excuses. I really wasn't that close to making money this time. Oh well.

He didn't shut out Chisora, though it was a clear win.

Yes, but Boytsov really hasn´t won anybody that matches Chisora. Bydenko is probably the best scalp that Boytsov has.

A couple of his fights were broadcast live (or rather shown after the main event) in Germany. I've seen him and I felt entertained by what I saw and yet there's no way you can justify having him at #8.

As long as his resume consists of 28 #200+ boxrec bums he remains a mystery. He might as well turn out a bum once he faces serious adversary. I'm not saying he will - we simply don't know because his record doesn't indicate ****.

EDIT: Granted, Taras Bydenko is an alright win.

It was Fury who made Chisorsa look ****. Chisora was unbeaten going into the fight, was British champion, and considered good enough for a voluntary Klit defence. Chisora is a decent fighter

I am sorry but beating a bunch of British Domestic bums doesn't mean much. We all know how much the Brits overhype their fighters. They are awful.

I agree with the topic, hypejob Boytsov has fought 28 bums... Fury beat Chisora & at least he was the undefeated British champion & Wlad had signed to fight him twice.
