I prefer Adamek as a cruiser and hope he returns to that weight after this Vitali fight. Adamek is way more confident and effective at 200 lbs. And there are plenty of good cruiser fights to be made in the States---Tarver, Kayode and Flores are far more winnable fights for Adamek then taking on a Top 10 heavyweight. And the Cunningham rematch is still out there. And maybe Hopkins would take the Adamek at 200 lbs fight now if Adamek could pick up a strap. This could all happen if Adamek makes a good account of himself against Vitali and preserves his reputation as fan-friendly.

True, but he's not going back down to cruiserweight. I can bet on that.

Adamek was excellent at CW. He had the power, speed and size to be a high quality champion at that weight. He moved to the HW, because he had problems with finding the opponents. And even when they wanted to fight him (Cunningham), there was no TV money to support the fight. The CW division look to be in agony in the USA, even the best US fighter - Cunningham - fights in Europe.

He wasnt too big for CW, when he moved up, but now at solid 215-220 pounds he looks very big. He would have serious trouble in making the weight and have to drain himself.

Not at all. I was at the fight and found it pretty entertaining especially for a modern heavyweight bout.

His face might have swelled ...But Adameks best shots had no effect on him.. He gave Props to Adameks performance, but in a round about way mentioned that Adamke had no power.

IF thats the case then Adameks best days as a top contender are over... Once Vitlai kos him, expect a ko loss or 2 for Adamek in the near future if he fights in WOrld class HW that can punch a little.

So, where are the rounds Arreola scored? And where was Adamek on a '***** streed' ?
If you watch it without biased commentators who always look for sensation 'Oh, he almost got KOed' you can see Adamek wasnt even once in serious trouble here.
... It was a quite exciting one sided beating for HW standards, but if you had been expecting Adamek/Cunn or vs Briggs kind of fight then you might have been disappointed.

Ya he gave Adamek props for the hard preparation and work rate. He also did mention that Adamek's head is hard as **** and he hurt his hands from punching it and butting heads. Thats why I don't really understand why people think he doesn't have a good chin..

He's 34.... its about the end of his prime if he loses to vitali. He expects to be prime for about 3-4 more years and then its questionable from there.
