Stupid thread, not least because you use examples of natural Heavyweights fighting unusually small heavies to support your argument.

Also because most peoples problem with Wlad, is that his best asset is his size, his whole gameplan is based around something that isn't a skill, so if you were to take away his size, how good would he be?

I dont believe he is unfairly advantaged but your reasons were neither convincing or logical, the trueism, 'people can make up statistics to prove anything' springs to mind.

Great statistics. Hopefully the historians take note of such hard evidence, unlike today's nostalgic, blind fans.

:huh.. If Ali or Holmes didnt have their height and reach to pump the jab?
If Foreman didnt have his (back then) beastly physical presence?

Great Evidence? Evidence that included Larry Holmes being 8 inches taller, than a man who was 5 foot 6? I think not.

The point is, Wlad dwarfs even tall men. Not simply short ones.

Again, not that I beleive his advantage is unfair, but the examples provided are incredibly poor.

Right, but we have "know nothings" who are now calling for a new weight division. As tho Wladimir is just too big for anybody to beat...

    Presence is an ability?

You mean like when Ali's height advantage was taken against Foreman with his ever so beastly presence?

Genuine question. How would Wlad fight someone who he didn't have a size/reach advantage over? Someone who was a live opponent? If he couldn't get to Peter before peter could get to him?

Again, I don't agree with him being tall being unfair, but the excuses given are bull****.

It was a typo and they are the same height, so provide a rebuttal and don't dodge the post.

Ali also used his size... which was considered tall for his era. What's your point? Only haters would say something as stupid as Wlad's best asset being his size. If it was that easy, Tye Fields would be cleaning house. Fighters are SUPPOSED to form their styles around their attributes. You pretend as if Wlad doesn't have great speed... especially for a man that size. Great footowork, possibly the hardest power puncher IN THE HISTORY OF BOXING! A great jab, great left hook, great straight right, great defense, great ring generalship controlling space, distance, pace, and his opponents balance. Yet... he is only good because of his "size". Only ******s use that sort of logic.

I don't reply to Window Maker because he honestly makes me ashamed to be a fan of Wlad. Cringe cringe cringe.

You're stats are misleading. You are basically bringing up extreme cases of differences each fighter faced. That is cherry picking stats to back up your argument. You can't change facts. Wlad is 6'6" and about 240 lbs with no fat on his body. The only other ATG HW besides his brother to be that big is Lewis. You also can't change the fact that some of Wlad's best wins are over midgets in Chambres, Ibrag and possibly Povetkin. Those guys lost before the fight even began. We are talking HUGE disparity in height and weight.

Yeah, the guy has skills but he also has huge advantages going into a lot of his fights.
