Physically he's a match. Technically he has a long way to go. But it is possible.

Like I said, I'd like to see him stop all the bouncing around and sit down on his punches, and tighten his attack. He needs to trust his power.

It would definitely be very competitive in 2012, think he just stands a better chance in 2013. Yeah hard to gauge where someone is at when they only fight once a year and are getting up there in age... I think he still has enough to take Khan in 2012, 2013 could be a different story..

Fair enough, good analysis. He seemed to sit down a little more against Judah which was nice to see, he also seemed a lot more relaxed in there, but he was still over reaching a little and winging some punches upstairs. I think he's the best Britain has right now, and could go far though definitely.

He's the best 140lber period. Bradley certainly doesnt think he can beat him.

It will sell like crazy and they are both running out of opponents.

It will be super easy to make with them both GBP. I would be shocked if it didnt happen, its inevitable.

Its all about timing, right now i would say Khan is not ready, by late 2012 I think Khan will be.

Its all good for the OP to say 'Floyd is a master counter and soon as Khan tries to land his combo Floyd will counter him Really?

Its Khan's hand speed vs Floyds aging reflexes late 2012.

Let me tell you now if Khan keeps improving at this rate, I think he will shock Floyd defence system with his speed of attack, Floyd wont like it, and Floyd early on wont match Khan's fire for fire as he is a naturally a defensive minded fighter. Khan would put Floyd into a defensive shell.

There is a flaw which Floyd offers and which not many can take advantage of because you need hand speed to expose it.

Floyd dont bend down to protect most times, and would offer a side on body while making you miss with headshots near/on the ropes, Khan can switch attacks from head to body real fast and would land them body shots aswell.

Khan has a great striaght jab which Floyd wont like, Khan at 147 would come in the ring bigger than Floyd, Khan is faster than Floyd, Has a higher workrate than Floyd.

Still Khan would be a big under dog in this fight and rightly so, but only a fool would count this young hungry fighter like Khan out, Roach would set out a hit and move gameplan, and because of his hand speed and jab Khan will land on Floyd more than most and Floyd wont like it and cant do nothing to stop some of the shots, say in a 5 punch combo due to Khan's speed he will at least land 2 or more at times, Floyd wont like it, it wont be natural to him.

I think no one including Khan thinks that he is ready for Floyd right now. Yea he says that from time to time but that is how you get on people's radar. But push him a bit further and Khan is very open in saying that he is not going to rush into such a fight.

Goldenboy ain't crazy that they will put their future cash cow (Khan) up against Mayweather (present cash cow but fading) right now so that he can get brutalized. It will be a passing of the torch sort of a deal when everyone is relatively confident that Khan has a good chance. HBO and Golden boy aren't crazy that they will pay Khan a million bucks for each of these fights he is currently having that produce next to nothing for their revenues and than let it all go down the tube. They know what they are doing.

He'd have a better chance than Ortiz.

    Not that that says much...

Like MW said physicaly he looks to play the part but as of right now there are many things that need to be tightened up.

I also am not certain he can handle a fighter who takes away the gameplan he is given and forces him to adjust and maybe even kep ad******g....takes some experience and confidence in yourself to do things like that.

Ortiz landed 3 jabs against Lamont. You heard it right, 3 !!!. You are right on the money. I don't understand how can people make this to be a competitive fight. Ortiz is going to get owned.

Khan in late 2012 is a different bet. Right now he gets countered to the canvas.

Khan is weaker than a new born. I dont like his fight game, and i was unimpressed with his win over judah. he talks reckless **** yet i respect the fact he wins fights. mayweather is getting a little long in the tooth so maybe this pansy will have shot in a year or two. right now he gets sparked, no doubt about it.

I think khan brings something extra that only those in the ring facing him are experiencing. Khan is a live dog vs any opponent rite now be it Mayweather or Pacquiao. All he needs is a great nite and who knows. I am a big mayweather fan but Khan is a legitimate threat who is improving in leaps and bounds.

Mayweather beats Khan in 2012 for sure. In 2013 Khan has a chance. In 2014 Khan beats mayweather clearly, but its not because of skill, its because by then Roach will have a good game plan to beat an AGING Mayweather. Mayweather should be retired by 2014, or someone will hand him a loss.
