I have the benefit of access to international channels now. God bless my work! I can watch HBO, legally, in HD. HA!

I’m not sure how it works. I need to use a box though and it runs off my internet connection – I figure it’s the same tech that Google TV are trialling.

Because it was like watching that spoof pirate advert for Still Tango that came out in about 1995. I've heard better sound quality on footage shot on camera phones than they managed on their advert for the fight with Khan talking in a corridor.:lol:

And the picture quality was like watching a moving Monet.

The fact it cost 15 quid to watch all of Haye,s fights pretty much hits that argument out of the park.

In an ideal world all boxing would be free to air but it's not an ideal world. Khan has only ever fought on free to air was on itv and obviously the finances didn't add up or he,d have stayed there and been watched by 5 million people every fight. The only channel showing free boxing seems to be 5 and they are part of the Primetime set up. If khan ppv means free boxing on 5 surely that's acceptable especially if 5 add support shows to back it up?

Personally the good old days of 2007/8/9 of free boxing on itv, sky sports and Calzaghe and Haye free on Setanta will probably never be back but it's not
    Primetime to blame!

If there was no Primetime we wouldn't have seen -

    Froch - Dirrell
    Froch - Kessler
    Froch - Abraham
    Abraham - Taylor
    Kessler - Ward

    and a shed load more.

No ****er wanted the Super Six and that's why the channel was born.

That's a good description for a digital broadcast compressed into a small bandwidth. I can imagine Primetime's HD transmissions being like the BBC's, ie; compressed to the point of being barely better than SD. At least the BBC have decent SD...

I'd prefer a bit of competition, the cost for the sports package alone should be enough to cover boxing aswell.

Setanta you paid for the channel, no extra for fight/s or other events
ESPN you pay for the channel no extra for fight/s or other events.

I know at the moment ESPN dont show any boxing so dont bother replying with that. Im making the point of paying for the channells only and not extra for any other events.
Primetime paying for events only and not paying for the channell.

SKY PAY FOR THE ****ING CHANNELS AND ALSO EXTRA FOR OTHER EVENTS.

Thanks Sky, you treat me really well.

No. That was only on an internet stream from some other company and was shown on ITV4 the night after.
