Blimey... I have five days of holiday Hell and get back nine days early to a mad and changed Boxing landscape...Channel Five do stunning figures, Primetime move up with Mayweather, SKY pulls out of pay-per-view, Premier have a weekly show...
The Boxing Hour on BBC London 94.9 will NOT be on tonight (28th) and that ends a run of 81 consecutive shows.
However, it will return next Thursday the 4th of August when there will be a special show dedicated to 'where British Boxing is going'. It will be a show for fans and fight people and I need to get this revved up:

I'm assuming Tyson will be fighting on the same date as Mayweather-Ortiz then?

Bunce could you let me know the number of consecutive shows you've done? I dont think you've mentioned it previously?

So are all these things confirmed now or is it still just forum based rumour?

The Sky situation absolutely boggles the mind.

I can only assume the PPVs people are complaining about, are the ones that did astonishing business for them (the 2 Haye fights). Sky have never been concerned about ruffling a few feathers as long as it makes them a healthy profit.

Is there something more to the Goldenboy situation? There was the fiasco with Khan earlier this year, and now the Mayweather fight is going on PPV elsewhere. Is this Sky's way of saying they're not going to be strong armed into carrying PPV shows?

technically the next show will be the one which follows so it will be the 82nd consectuvive show. Maybe make it clearer it has been shown on 81 consectutive weeks.

I will get Tyson on in August but not the 4th - the 4th is a Special for the Fans.
I think SKY will drop pay-per-view for a time. Let's see how big Primetime's balls are. Shirley C5 have to commit? Not rumours, Bunce facts/questions.

    Adios.

can you look into why the corrupt wbc have stripped bradley so early? and giving morales vs barrios winner the belt.
