The fight against Floyd comes to early for Ortiz. He should take his time to improve and then get a shot against the big fighters.
Whenever I think about Ortiz, I think about the guy who got is ass kicked by Maidana. The draw against Peterson. I just can't see him wining that fight.
Floyd has a far better movement. He is slick, experienced and a whirlwind like Ortiz coming up to him is cheap prey for him.

I agree he should have waited but hey you never know in this sport, I mean think about it when is the last time we had a champion in his early to mid 20s this is what Boxing was once like... Holyfield and Tyson both were in the early 20s well tyson wasnt even 20.....

Not saying that Ortiz is on that level just saying the age may be a factor, the lay off may be a factor, the south paw style may be a factor, the speed may be a factor the power may be another factor we never ****ing know....

    Good ****.

Floyd seems to be super confident as if he knows Ortiz inside out.
Ortiz seems not so confident that he will win. But he has that straight as an arrow power left hand that Floyd can be hit with if timed right. I will be impressed as hell if Floyd walks him down like he did Mosley.. But Berto got ****ed up trying to do the same. Should be interesting until Floyd takes over.

Ortiz's just naive, he won't be able to beat him, full stop. There is no challenge in this fight, just look for Mayweather to do something different and see if he backs it up.

He might be as dominant but I doubt he's able to maintain that same offensive pace at this point in his career.

floyd UD12, although i do expect him to school this kid and make it kinda exciting, like how he dominated shane.

made a thread about it before the fight was even announced, ortiz just doesnt have the defense to deal with mayweather.

I dont think the pace was high against Gatti...its just everything he threw landed.

You're probably right. I don't know the numbers but it was like Mayweather was the only one throwing punches. Amazing stuff.

Floyds looking to KO a southpaw. Floyd will wear victor down similar to the way he worn down ricky hatton. Good tune up bout, but the thing is..the only thing it could be a tune up for the either Sergio or Manny.

These face offs , mean nothing. How they perform in the ring is the only thing that matters and Floyd is in another league. Ortiz makes too many mistakes and Floyd will make him pay. This will be a schooling, nothing more.

Victor doesn't seem to believe what he's saying sometimes.
