I hear ya buddy. The Grant gloves are awesome . Bulky or not. I've sparred using Grants and though bulky to LOOK at they are definitely (in my opinion ) NOT bulky in use. They feel light on the hand and are of a very high quality. But yeah if you ever get the chance try the Rivals, preferable not their low end stuff, which is mainly aimed at those training for fitness, so im told. They might not be your cup of tea but nothing ventured nothing gained. You may love em, like me or just plain hate them And im with ya on the Wrist soreness after using Everlast. I always get the feeling that because Everlast is an old name in boxing then they must be amazing gloves. I've personally never found it to be the case. Others may disagree though Morti
I have to disagree with you sorry but them VIP are possible the worst gloves i have ever used the padding is terrible and does not last long, the headguards are good though the ones with the cheek protectors.
Just bought some Grant 16oz sparring gloves, never used them before, but for the price, they better be my new favourite boxing glove brand.
I'm not rich, but I enjoy trying out different gloves, even if I am paying $150 a pair and don't care for them. I can always sell them to someone at the gym. I just like the experience of using different stuff, as it seems like many guys I work with only have tried around 3 or 4 different gloves before they got set in their ways. I want to try Cleto Reyes next though, I look forward to getting a pair.
same, being that im canadian mostly lol. but ive had the rb20's for over a year now. and other then some thinning on the padding where my knuckles are they are fine. i might try the ones with the new d3o once these ones **** the bed. they still got some miles left on em tho
