    Interesting scenario Burt

I find it very hard to imagine that a 33 year old Ali would lick a prime 24 year old Liston. Then again, who would believe you if you told someone a 33 year old Ali could KO a prime Foreman if it had never happened?

My thoughts pertaining to this interesting fantasy match-up, is that if the fight is built up right, Ali would win. What I mean by that, is if Listons name was as big as it was after he beat Patterson, then yes, I think Ali would find a way. But if Liston was just a "great up and comer", then it might be different. Not that I doubt that Ali wouldn't do his homework, but I think if you take the Foreman fight, and make the atmosphere surrounding the fight a lot less significant, than I dont think you would get the same performance from Ali.

    So in short, I think

    Superfight - Ali

    Just another fight - Liston

All I know that Jack McKinney who knew Sonny Very well said that after the incident when he came home to Philadelphia, that any chance of Sonny Changing as a person was over. It was set up by Mayor James Tate and Larry Merchant to confuse the time of arrival at the airport. I learned this from nephew of Raymond Munson who was told directly by Munson. There is a human factor to this believe it or not
