A lot of people here have not really watched enough boxing matches of the past. I'm guessing this could be the only reason 40 odd people think Klitschko can beat Ali. For **** sake man this guy has not beaten even a SINGLE great boxer. And now you guys say he can beat the man widely regarded as the second greatest heavyweight of all time after Louis. That too when he is in his prime? **** off.
Ali '66 easy UD even stoppage, 71-75 also beats him with ease. Fools voting for klits are dickhead fanboys
tzz he couldn't beat a fat old Untrained and past his prime Lennox Lewis or Chris Byrd and Than to think he would beat The Great Muhammed Ali ???? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
pre draft ali wins ud/ late stoppage post draft i think ali could struggle,he struggled with nortons awkward style leaning back behind a jab vitali fights like this on defense and is a lot taller plus ali wasn't known to throw body punches to negate this strategy
That's fair enough but I don't think it was prime Vitali against Byrd or arguably Lewis either. Vitali is clearly better around his mid-30s (as was Lewis)
Ali, even in his prime, was primarily a headhunter. Ali, even in his prime, can be befuddled by fighters not afraid of throwing jabs at him at the same time. (timing beats speed as bouts progress) Ali, even in his prime, sucks at chasing counterpunchers. In Vitali, Ali will find a guy who is -WAY taller than he is -heavier than he is (pure muscle) -who has good reflexes -who has good handspeed -who trained in kickboxing so body shots will be crap against him -who has a strong chin that's only been tested by guys almost as big as he is -who has hard hitting arm punches so his shots aren't as telegraphed while still being dangerously hard -who has a higher than normal heavyweight workrate with said hard arm punches -who is a counterpuncher -who has supreme conditioning I'm going to go with Vitali on this one. If he doesn't KO Ali (he won't), he wins by wide decision due to workrate.
The Klits would lose their fight even before they entered the ring with Ali, and even Tyson. From the limited hype from Haye you see that Vlad's mind was penetrated and made him EMOTIONAL. Just imagine what effect Ali's pre-fight mental warfare would have been and it's affect on the Klits. They would likely burst out in tears on international TV screens. There is no way in hell that either Klit could win 1/10 fights against Ali, except in the Holmes-Ali era. Their skins are just too thin, and their minds, too weak.
