Clampdown by BBBC on Trash Talking?

    dont belive anything you read in the sun mate!

    they wont do **** all.....they would have done it years ago if they were gonna do anything imo.

    Heard Fury speak about it in an interview, don't know any details though.

    If what they do is legal then the BBBofC should **** off. Freedom of speech. We might not agree with it but they have the right to say it just like everyone else. If they say stupid **** then that will just hurt their own career.

    It is not a freedom of speech thing. Fury is licenced to box by the BBB of C, and as such needs to act in a manner that the BBB of C has asked of him, if he wishes to continue to box in this country.

    You do not here it in other sports, and in a sport where accidents have happened, resulting in people's death, it is nice to here the BBB of C are trying to crackdown on such talk.

    That said Fury is hardly the first person to make such comments in this sport, so I would like to think he was given fair warning of any potential sanctions if he used such language.

    I agree with you but just a small point...threatening to kill someone is actually against the law I think, just saying.

    Its very refreshing seeing honest interviews from boxers compared to the interviews football players give

    Fury's comments have been taken out of context anyway. It's not like he just said "I'm going to kill you, Del".
