Even iff Bowe came back now and beat the klitschkos, he would still be remembered for running away from Lewis

    it would be like this
    1.Wlad
    2.Vita
    3.Bowe(in his prime)

Bowe had a terrible work ethic

The question really amounts to could he beat Wlad and Vitali. He would beat all the other current day heavyweights. I think he'd give Wlad and Vitali better opposition than they have been getting lately but probaby still lose to both.

Bowe was a good but flawed fighter. In this era of slow, overweight heavies he'd destroy everyone except for the Klitschko's.

Vitali would make Bowe suffer for his poor defence and lack of mobility to earn a competitive decision. Vitali wouldn't dominate, when Bowe does get in close he'd dominate Vitali and land that uppercut of his, but he'd just take too much to get inside and he isn't stopping Vitali, so Vitali on points.

Bowe could beat Wlad though, even when past prime and taking a beating from Golota he was able to land some big punches and break Golota's jaw. Wlad would have to fight a flawless fight to beat Bowe, I'd favour prime Bowe to come from behind and earn the KO.

He lost in 1993 - that doesnt bode well for him beating any heavyweight!

Bowe was inept at using his height advantage. He lacked ring intelligence, that's why you saw him battle toe-to-toe in an infight war of attrition with Holyfield who's much shorter instead of controlling the fight from the outside.

Bowe would have had tons of problems with the 6"0/6"3 fighters of the last 10 years that had a good chin and could bang as Bowe lacked the tools to keep them at distance. Brewster and Peter come to mind.

Lewis would have killed Bowe. Same for both K brothers.

he would do well, but not as good as we think. He did not have a right hand, which would have limited him. Lennox would have fought well now compared to Bowe. I think Bowe could have beaten Vlad, but not Vitali.

If Bowe were around today, and his mother and her fried chicken and biscuits were not, and if he kept Dick Gregory as his dietitian, he would defeat all the bum title holders of today.
I think the only HW who would be capable of defeating a well trained, and motivated Bowe would have been Ike Ieabucci.
A motivated Bowe would defeat teh Klits, David Haye, and all the other bums.

I'm think Bowe could beat all contenders. I'm confident he'd beat Wlad, and i think he would give Vitali a close fight......

Klitschkos murder Bowe any day of the week.

Bowe had lame work ethic, the loopiest right hand this side of Chuck Liddell, bad ring IQ, and not a lot of power for a man of his stature.

I'm just never very impressed watching Bowe. He seems like a bit of a waste imo.

Lewis, Wlad and Vitali all beat him.

Holyfield's style was perfect for Bowe, he got up close and fought Bowe on the inside where he could use his superior size and strength to boss Holyfield and utilise his fantastic uppercut to perfection. Plus while Holyfield definitely had pop in his punches he wasn't really a hard hitter as a Heavyweight, meaning Bowe could take far more risks to utilise his arsenal on a smaller Holyfield.

Holyfield won the rematch simply because he controlled the range better and utilised his jab more to outbox a frustrated Bowe. I would take Lewis and the Klits, who control range far better than Holyfield (as well as being physically much larger and stronger, not to mention harder hitting), to beat Bowe decisively. Lewis would stop him, and both Klits would outpoint him in my opinion.

Out of all three Bowe stands the best chance against Wlad, due to him being more mentally fragile that Lewis and Vitali, as well as less durable.

    Both Klits beat Bowe.

Vitali beats him by TKO 10.

Wlad beats him by KO 8.
