    Tsyzu isn't Australian and it's not a matter of opinion it's a matter of fact and besides the Aussies have a substantial enough pedigree in boxing - they shouldn't feel the need to hijack migrants. Having said that I appreciate that Tsyzu feels at home in Australia and has an affinity with the people and so on and the feeling is obviously mutual.

    He's an Australian Citizen. That makes him more Australian than say, someone who isn't.

    I've lived in Australia - Sydney to be precise, and naturalised Russian immigrants who arrived as adults in the early 1990's would not be considered, for the most part, Australian. I'm not trying to be derogatory to Russians or Australians I'm just telling it like it is.

    It just seems somewhat convenient that a succesful athlete could make an exception to that general principle.

    Didn't know there was levels of Australian.. :good
