Could Tyson Fury have won gold in London?

  1. Considering he’s just won the prestigious Commonwealth heavyweight title.

Not a chance. He's much better suited to the pro game.

Against Chisora he seemed very slow to get his punches off, not very good reflexes which I gather amateur boxing is more about? Probably suited to the physical pro game alot more where he can make his size tell over the distance. Just my thoughts though.

    Very funny!

Within the last 40 or so times the Commonwealth title was contested it was won by a UK boxer (because more often than not both boxers contesting happen to be from the UK!)and include such greats as Sprott, Williams, Jullius Francis......and of course Fraudley.

And yes Fraudley did win gold........but that was when he was at his best......it all went downhill from there for Fraudley.

Fury is a limited fighter.........and his physical size has helped him win a fair share of his fights so far.

Price would have a better chance of gold than Fury.

Price will box the ears off Fury with bread and butter basic boxing skills...:yep

Fury is reliant on weight and height...:yep Price will match him with both and has the boxing skills and fitness to match...:good
