Don't get me wrong as I love EM.He was a great fighter and one of my favorites of the era.But lesser fighters than Chava went the distance with Eric and there is no evidence whatsoever that Eric would stop Chava as Chava was in with some brutal punchers and NEVER seemed to be hurt or lose his cool.

Morales was just too defensively flawed and too willing to engage/go to war to beat such a cool, relaxed and accurate counterpuncher like Sanchez.

Question could also be flipped, I bet there are an odd few who've just seen a highlights vid on youtube and that's enough for them (along with the a dash of nostalgia) to decide Sanchez would beat Morales.

If Morales takes training seriously and doesnt party with TJ hookers and mafia members he beats any one.

    It's hard to say.

I think Morales LOOKS more impressive on tape and IMO would probably win.

Sanchez, however, has this great accuracy and would make it tough. But IMO Morales would take him.

I'm going to be 50 this month. When Sanchez was on the go,I was in my teens and early twenties.I was a big fan of his for a long time and actually watched him dismantle Gomez on closed circuit tv in the old Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden.I saw many of his fights when they were happening-both Little Red fights were on free tv.Have you ever seen Sanchez fight?Btw,nobody picking Eric has answered the question yet.

Morales has the worst chance of the trio to take on Sanchez. He loses wide.

You've probably been looking at the wrong tapes.

Maybe you're confusing Chava with his son.

Not only did Sanchez beat better comp at 126(beat three HOF at that weight) he also looked much better doing it than Morales who got a gift decision against an average fighter in Espadas and was pushed to the limit by the crude In Jin Chi, the only time Morales looked very good at 126 was against and undersized past his best Paulie Ayale.

I wouldnt even pick Morales to beat Danny Lopez let alone beat Sanchez.

Morales is good but hes becoming very overrated.

Sanchez would have been one of the ATG's without a shadow of doubt.
