All these *******s claiming pac would kill naz at featherweight are deluded. A primed naz at featherweight was truly a phenomenal fighter...people are way too harsh on him for losing out a UD to barrera, when it was clear he was out of love with the sport, hadn't prepared, had a diabolical corner, and no gameplan whatsoever going into the fight. A prepared naz at FW beats pac by decision, possibly even KO.
Naz has not shown the ability to adjust when faced with elite level tactical or athletic problem. With Roach + Manny, you get both. And to those saying Naz in Barrera fight was this/was that, please save the excuses. It was not training that made Barrera win. It was the Naz inability to adjust. Naz was stylistically destined to lose that fight, as he is with Pac. Naz was a good figher.... just below the the 4 greatest small fighters of his generation (Pac, EM, MAB and JMM).
Larios definitely had Pac on spaghetti legs for a second there even though Pac came back to dominate the round.
Yup.Ah the monthly Hamed thread. No matter how many excuses his supporters make for him(and there are many excuses),Hamed fought one elite in his career at 27 and got his ass handed to him. There is not one opponent that Hamed beat that was on Pac's level nor is there any proof that he would have beaten Manny.Slacker is correct.
Naz is about as overrated as Hatton was. Pac by decapitation. People bringing up chins forget Naz was dropped by nearly anyone who connected solid on him. Pac would connect and has huge power at 126.
I would pick Manny by stoppage but it would be a very dangerous fight for him. I could see Manny coming in recklessly like he did back in the day and being caught with something big from Naz that ends up knocking him out.
:thumbsup Thx! Sadly, the gym is closing. :-( You can read about it here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=305325
Naz IN HIS PRIME BEFORE HE WENT TO AMERICA has a chance But Pacquiao now is too much for every fighter apart from May, and he would win
