Maidana looking like **** against Erik Morales is far worse than Khan getting knocked out by a nothing boxer who's accomplished nothing since beating Khan. It would look bad if Prescott actually is a champion. But he isnt and never will be. It happens. You move on.

It shouldn't be an issue. But i wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

Plus most of the folk demanding he rematch Prescott have ulterior motives............and are spastics.

a KO is a KO, no matter what, either if it's an upset.

you're like saying Hatton should rematch Floyd and Pac.

Forget Prescott. Khan's got bigger fish to fry. He's doing the right thing by moving forward.

    - Why in gods green earth did they allow Khan to fight when it was Ramadan

    - He would have been fasting all day - eating nada/zilch/nothing/nowt

    - And only eaten something maybe 2 hours before fighting at 10 pm

    - Now I play soccer on a Saturday morning - enough time on the way to get a Sports-Drink after brushing my teeth - and my cardio levels are awful usually

    - On a weekday - when I play at 7pm - I've had plenty of water and food, and my cardio levels increase greatly

    - Khan's management made a serious error for this fight.

And he should avenge the loss

I don't think it will suffer much, unless Prescott becomes a top top fighter. It is seen as a fluke and maybe a bad style matchup.

he knocked him out in one round id say that warrants a rematch.
Khan didnt want one and now its meaningless but a 1st round ko loss like that on your record is something you would want avenged.

plus csual boxing fans think fighters dont age or progress or regress.
for example Calzaghe schooled prime Jones and pac just whipped prime mosley.

i think Khans a great fighter already at this age and will get better. i think he would ruin Prescott in a rematch but i still think Khan should have rematched him.

all the guys Khans fighting now are far better than Prescott. Dont see why he hasnt already fought him.

people will ask him why he didnt especially with how **** Prescot has looked since.

Am i a spastic with an alternative motive?

i mean hes proved he was weight drained when he got knocked out

i think people will forget about it soon enough if he keeps winning

Nah what's the point in having a rematch anyways? Khan is the best jr welterweight in the world and has his eye set on mayweather or bradley next. Who the hell is prescott and what has he done since beating khan?

Not a damn thing. In the future this loss will be nothing just like pac's early knockout loss. It doesn't hurt his legacy nor did it hurt hopkins and marquez legacy losing a fight when they first got into boxing.

never got why Khan picked McCloskey rather than a rematch with Prescott what would have generated far more interest and money. I doubt Sky had droped a Prescott rematch.. so to me it seems he just don´t want it because he is afraid. there would be a lot of pressure on him because another loss to Prescott would be absolutly humiliating.
However since it seems Khan is just afraid and the fight could be put together very easily it hurts his legacy..

give the 'afraid' angle a rest...the guy who said the prescott loss will enhance his legacy got it spot on.

there was no other reason than fear why he choose to fight McCloskey rather than Prescott.
that McCloskey fight was totally meaningless as far as his legacy is concerned and made far less financial sense..
