    I knew once Frank hadn't called by last week Tuesday that Burns didn't want any part of fighting me.

    All i asked for was the African's deal: a Meal, some cash and somewhere to sleep.

    I did consider that but putting him in with a Gamboa or a rejuvenated Lopez he would be a lamb to the slaughter and that just isn't Allegedlys style and I don't know how much longer he wants to make SFW as well. If i am being cynical I would say he would rather get Mitchell the credit of beating the former Ring champion at SFW as he could cash out on Mitchell in a big fight who seems more PPV just because he has a broader appeal than Burns.

    I hope this comes off i really do what a night it will be at the kelvin hall i was their the nite burns beat martinz and its without doubt one of the best nights of boxing ive been to, will definatly be going to this one if it happens.

    Theirs Only One Ricky Burns..... :happy

    Beating Fana still doesn't make him the best in the division in my eyes. Fana is old and nothing special. Would be a good win for Ricky and another win against a top 5 fighter like Broner or Uchiyama would seal his number 1 spot imo.

    Let's hope after he takes care of the Flimsy Fana he can take on Uchiyama and prove who will be the real no.1 until Gamboa turns up and decimates everyone :deal

    He looks strong at super feather. If he can beat Uchiyama as well as Fana, and prove himself the no.1 he should defend his patch and wait for the impending featherweight exodus and prove himself a top quality 130lber.
