Will Mayweather-Ortiz go over 1.4 million PPV buys?

U wrong too kid, im mexican and most of us dont like the manufactured champion canelo is, morales is a good boxer but its not as worship as u think, i personally hate morales cuz is an ******* as a person, i met him in flesh and he really is.

The 24/7 will be premiered on mainstream networks and that show can sell. I think it can do over 1.4mil quite easily.

 

I thought it would disappoint at first but the undercard is very very strong. Golden Boy putting on a good show here. I still don't think it'll go over 1.4 however but would not be surprised to see it come close.

 

I'm going to say just under. 1.2 mill or so. Remember, Top Rank will start the Pac vs. Marquez promotions real heavy around then and the "that's whats wrong with boxing" talk will start on sportstalk.

This will be the first card I buy in 2011. Outside of Maidana/Morales, this is the first card worth actually buying.

If it is another gayweather vs baldomir 2, it might get 7 million ppv and it would still be an utter failure for me.

 

why would a fan even care about PPV buys? Just really wondering....
seems like *****s like to use this magic number against other fighters to convince themselves and unsuccussfully convince others that Mayweather is more liked....

Why quibble about how many of ourselves like a certain fighter? How about just focusing on the fighters and the ****ing fights themselves?

 

It's a good way to measure how much people value boxing.
