Why is Wlad picking such poor fighters?

  1. Haye got a deserving Reality Rehab. I loved it.
    Thank you Wladimir.

This is a silly argument. A previous poster has already said that the top ceontenders are not available so he has no one else to fight. This guy is as good as any one else left to fight. Why do you just go on and on do you just have to have the last word to win your stupid argument?

Jack, if there were someone else out there, who was CLEARLY more deserving, or others felt like he had a chance, etc... I could understand being upset with Wach possibly getting a shot.

But there's no one out there. Arreola is the only one I can think of, and Wladimir had even mentioned Arreola MULTIPLE TIMES, so I can only guess that 1. Arreola turned it down for whatever reason, OR 2. The Arreola fight will be after Wach (if Wach should accept).

Fair enough, but surely you can't blame either Wladimir or Vitali for the fact there's nobody around at Heavyweight at the moment? There's no good fighter's for him to pick from

I hope Wlad has a lot more fights after this...

I really don't want one of his last fights to be wasted on a shoddy slob.

The last fight was a unification fight against the most dangerus opponent in the division.

It's not Wladimir's fault. The harsh truth is every dangerous heavyweight of the past five years has been ruined by the Klitschko brothers.

The decent challengers of the past five years have been:

Lamon Brewster (Good fighter in his own right, took alot throughout his career and got pummeled by Wlad in their rematch)

Samuel Peter (Very dangerous fighter early in his career, had his prime beaten out of him by both brothers)

David Haye (Refused to fight anyone other than Wlad, and then dissapointed in a points loss)

    Alexander Povetkin (Doesn't seem interested)

Chris Arreola (was way our of shape when he got his oppurtunity)

Odlanier Solis (suffered a freak injury during his chance)

If all of those fighters were prime, in shape, and active at precisely the same time then the division would look pretty solid. The problem is people in the division stopped fighting each other and just chose tomato cans while awaiting a big payday against either brother.

Right now if you consider that: Peter, Brewster, Maskaev, Toney, Ruiz are all finished, and that Haye/Povetkin/Arreola are in questionable territory, then you have to conclude that prospects and no hopers are the only option!

Exactly. Let's see what happens before we condemn him. It seems Wlad is staying busy and fighting whover is avail. & has an undefeated record similar to what Joe Louis did.

Of course but for all we know, the Wach offer was made as a backup plan in the event that neg. fall through with Arreola.
