I'm wondering how you can criticize Wlad if him and his brother will basically have taken out the top 2 HW's besides themselves by the end of the summer and how the Klitschkos have asked guys like Valuev and Povetkin for fights but both ducked them.

Arreola has already been beaten, Solis too, Chagaev and Chambers have also been beaten. Helenius is probably ducking too.

THERE ARE NO FIGHTERS LEFT. The Klitschkos have to hand pick guys who are unproven because THERE IS NOBODY LEFT. USE COMMON SENSE.

Can someone tell me why Wlad defended the title against bums when he beat Byrd instead of facing top ten apponents like Tua , Ruiz ,Hollyfield ?

I would say that these "bums" were better than Tua and Hollyfield at that point. If there's one thing I don't regret in life, it's clearly that we didn't collectively had to sit and watch an horror show called Klitschko vs Ruiz.

    Possibly because Byrd beat Tua?

He should retire instead of preying on fat, underserving HW. This will only hurt his legacy and if he's ever unlucky enough to get knocked by another bum, Wald will be history.

How this hurts his legacy is a mystery to me. Not only is adding more wins, but also may get a few more KO's to his name.

Also, once he mows through every contender and prospect he will eventually retire. The guys who he dominated will then become champs, and he will hold wins over titleholders. This will boost his legacy by a lot, think about it.

People ragged on Holmes for facing Marvis Frazier, but they still give him credit for having nearly 2 dozen defenses. Better to fight someone and stay active than to wait for another contender to finally man up and do nothing in the meantime.
