Nothing to do with being a *****, Pac's style is made to order for the quick counter punching Mayweather would employ, people see Pacquiao beat 7 bells of **** out of the likes of Margarito and Clottey and think he's going to do the same thing to Floyd.

I remember just before the 2nd JMM fight how everyone was saying how the fight would end up like Pac Morales 3 because Manny is a complete fighter unlike in the first fight and how Manny is now using both hands freely etc. but when it came down to it he was wobbled on several occasions and got a very lucky decision that most people felt should have been given to Marquez so it's not hard to see why so many people see him getting UD'd by Floyd a fight who's bigger stronger and quicker then JMM not to mention has one of the best defences in boxing today along with a much higher ring IQ.

No Marquez is close to 40 and slowed down more than Pacman. Manny fighting Jmm at a catchweight instead 135 is just as bad as Floyd taking advantage of his weight. Manny should be able to decision this watered down version of Jmm, but he would be foolish to try and knock him out not even Floyd tried that. That would only put Jmm in his counterpunching mode and increase his chances of an upset. Simply put, if Manny fights anything like he did in his fights with Jmm, Jmm can beat him or draw him. Jmm is getting underestimated here bigtime.

Depends on how Marquez looks. Assessing a fighter's accomplishments should always include gauging how their opponent looks as well.

No way. Marquez is slow and can't take a punch like he used to, in my opinion. Pacquiao should blow him away inside 6 rounds...

Mayweather already dominated Marquez 2 years ago. Mayweather had already dominated Mosley at 36 when Manny beat him at 40. Mayweather had beat DLH after which Manny decided to fight him.

lol ok not at 36 but seems like a long time ago. Anyways, Mayweather easily beats Mosley and people call Mosley old. When Manny fights and beats him its a good fight.

I expect Pac to dominate in this fight. It would be unfair for me to give Pac much credit for doing so after calling Mayweather's fight against him a farce.

JMM is one of my favorite fighters. He's one of the guys I will show my nephews tape of, but he is past his prime and out of his weight class here.

Manny should dominate Marquez. Hell I would be surprised if he didn't. Floyd isn't Marquez so it wouldn't change my opinion on the fight.

If pac doesnt dominate jmm at this point in his career then he is in even more trouble then i originally thought if he ever steps in the ring against floyd. i think floyd would win a ud but no i do not think that a domination of jmm would change my opinion at all.

none at all, as i have said this was a b/s fight from before it was even announced

and before you go on about, "but floyd fought jmm at ww...blah blah blah" save it, i don't give floyd credit for that fight either

Stick a consistent jab in Floyds face and he makes certain moves that manny can take advantage of. If that doesnt work, then walk through his punches, get him on the ropes and beat the **** out of him!

People should not expect Pac-Mayweather to happen next (if it's going to happen at all) after their fight against JMM and Ortiz.

I doubt it happens but that isn't the thread topic...

IF he dominates and/or knocks him out...I ABSOLUTELY would give him more credit..

Alot of these *******s don't realize I mean what I say....When I say that BECAUSE of Floyd's LONGER REACH AND HIS MUCH MORE IN DEPTH AND BETTER TECHNICAL FOOTWORK, PLUS THE ABILITY TO COUNTER PUNCH AND TIME BETTER THAN MARQUEZ, WHO HAS TAKEN A LOT OF ROUNDS AGAINST PAC, HE WILL WIN AND I MEAN IT...Not saying that "just cuz I like Floyd as a fighter..."

If Pac comes out with the W over JMM in IMPRESSIVE fashion or by KO, he will obviously have show that HE CAN NOW DEAL with a fighter who presents good timing and can counterpunch (SOMETHING HE HAS STRUGGLED WITH JMM ON, IN THE PAST)...

It will show me that he can at least deal with it, thus it will change my mind.

I still think the reach, quicker hands and feet (MORE SO THEN Marquez), and size will be the end of Pac when he faces Floyd.

But yes it will change my mind somewhat SHOULD HE KO JMM OR BEAT HIM IN IMPRESSIVE FASHION.
