I laugh down at you low IQ imbeciles that believe Pac beats Castillo easily. Castillo had the style and IQ to give Pacquiao hell moreso than Chico, Freitas, Casamayor and JCC. Pacquiao had one fight at 135 and it took him everypunch in his arsenal to put David "hit me" Diaz down. I see Castillo brutalizing Pacquiao's body for 7-8 rounds and working the head of Pacquiao in the later rounds forcing Pacquiao to go to war with him. Castillo by decision and possible late TKO (Castillo's power at 135 is horrifically underrated). I wouldn't have a problem with someone picking Pacquiao to win but anyone who says Pac wins easily clearly doesnt know anything about boxing. The Castillo that fought Mayweather the first time would beat the Pacquiao that fought David Diaz...FACT.

Castillo can cut the ring off, uses defense, feints and uses ring IQ

Castillo fought a great fight with Corrales, but against Pacman he is not good enough.

Pac doesn't have much of a problem technically with pressure fighters, I think. Look at Hatton and Margie.

The way you describe Castillo, it reminds me of Cotto.

EDIT: Wait a minute, wasn't Castillo Pac's sparring partner for the Cotto fight??

It was against Margarito. Castillo mentioned that Pacuiao was too damn fast. Rumor says that Pac 'floored' JLC on one of the sparring sessions.

Pac is on a whole other level and Castillo doesn't have the right style at all.

Pacquiao eats Castillo alive. This fight would not be remotely competitive.

    Entertaining fight, while it lasts.

The fight would be similar to Pac vs. Marg, but without the massive 17lbs advantage Marg had. I see Castillo getting stopped on either cuts or accumulation by round 10 or 11, winning maybe 2 rounds.

A better comparison would be Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. vs. Pacquiao @ 135 or 140.

I always saw JLC as a poor man's JCC Sr.

Would I be crossing the line to say Pac vs. Duran @ 135/140 is a good match up?

About Castillo vs. Mayweather I and II. Sure, the first fight was very close and could have gone either way, but Castillo didn't do much in the early rounds and seemed to give them away. Also, I hear Mayweather had an injured shoulder for the first fight. In the rematch, Floyd won clearly, even though the scoring was closer than the first fight.

Pacquiao UD. would have been exciting though. I think Manny would have been pure beast at 135
