Morales has proven himself to be on the level of Maidana, Matthysse, etc. If he beats Matthysse, then he was more than worthy of fighting for that title, and there would be nothing wrong with Khan, who originally wanted Bradley above all else, fighting him for it.

Picture the scene , Morales somehow scrapes past the stronger , younger Matthyse and picks up the WBC LWW in the process , Khan has Guerrero (off the back of a win over Maidana in the highest weight class he's ever fought having once been a FW) or Maidana (off the back of a solid win over the very capable Robert Guerrero) and he selects Morales , ITS NOTHNING SHORT OF CHERRY PICKING !!! you cannot dress it up any other way .

Alexander , Berto and Zavek would all fight Khan @47 and are all marketable fights , Morales is shot why would a young champion " who's aspirations are Floyd Mayweather " even want to contemplate fighting Morales ??!! its cutting corners

Khan gets critisised for several things , the way he's matched , the comments he makes about his own abilities and his peers , his team (as in team Khan not team Roach) , the manner Golden Boy negotiate his terms to his peers , and the likes ................

He was critisised for taking the McCloskey fight and ****ing rightly so , i agree he's been unfailrly critisised for the quality of his opponents pre Roach and as a young pro , but that cannot be the case now , he's a unified world champion , he has no more free passes , he is expected to live up to the tag world champion and fight the best out there :deal

I hope Matthysse picks up the WBC belt and Khan can fight him for it.

That's another good fight, and it's keeps Khan fighting at a decent level and giving him a chance to add another World Title.

First of, what the hell is with all this race issues, this shouldn't really be a debate in here about that.

Secondly Khan definitely cannot be accused of cherry picking.

Also it seems like if Matthyse beats Morales then Khan vs Morales seems like a worthy fight, but if Morales beats Matthyse then Morales vs Khan would be a cherry picked fight by Khan, which just doesn't make sense?

 

Yeah it's a tough fight, but that's what we want to see real fights.

Matthysee and Maidana in a rematch are both capable of stopping Khan, there's no doubt about it. Style wise these kind of fighters are going to give Khan problems for the rest of his career.

I hope Khan fights Matthysee if he beats Morales for the WBC title, would be a real interesting fight and a much harder fight than his last two fights that's for sure.
