I really hope your wrong, but this you got it wrong. Bute never talk in this way about any boxer and I'm pretty sure Bute will not start with Johnson.

Well Johnson wasnt KO or even near KD by Froch a couple of months ago. You think that in these months Johnson will have lost it all? I know he is old, and all, but Bute is not fighting Johnson 2 years after the Froch fight, a couple of months thats all.

If somebody tells me that it wasnt a good win for Froch (before the fight happened) I guess he has the right now to say it will not be a good win for Bute. If not, dont put double standards. If Bute win either by UD or KO its not the win of the century, but it is a good win that will (I hope) give Bute some respect from doubters (not haters as they are a lost cause).

Bute will get credit for simply picking Glen. I am out of the loop, is their fight oficial?

After the Pavlik debacle, Team Bute said Johnson was one of the most probable names as replacement, Johnson said that he was always ready. But no official release yet.

Without having any inside, I would guess the fight to be official by the beginning of the week. Bute and his trainer are like training machines, they would want to know the opponent and start preparing as soon as possible.

Bute would deserve credit but still doesn't deserve to be called anywhere near the best.....

anyone who thinks the hopkins tko over johnson is legit is an idiot :deal johnson was fine he can take a punch doesn't matter how many times hopkins hit him if the punches aren't hurting johnson.

Bute will hurt Johnson, but SOB Ward is so afraid of him that Bute was not allowed to fight in Ward's personal tournament, where Ward does not have to travel thousands of miles to fight, only his opponents have to travel, and Ward's head butts are legal, that is for him..............

Johnson was an ok win for Froch. In the sense that it all helps. But really it was a step down from the last many opponents Froch has faced. Froch came from an awesome string of star opponents and Johnson was the first lower level opponent he has had for a while. The upside was that it happened in the US and helped give Froch more exposure there. So overall it certainly was a good win for Carl but in no way a win over an elite opponent.

It was no elite win for Froch and it won't be an elite win for Bute.

We are talking about the manner of the win you Idiot.
    :patsch
GTFO and troll some place else.

    PS:
Knocking a men out who few months ago did well against an elite fighter such as Froch, is still impressive isn't it, adding the fact that he's never been out in almost 70 fights, and never really legitimately down If it happens I already see you shitting on this.

You must be new to boxing if you thing manner if winning means much.

Ward almost never KOs opponents. So in your world we could go back an find someone ward UDed and see what bums managed to KO that person... Then that fighter would be elite because he stopped the bum and Ward won an UD?

    WRONG!

It is just styles. Says very little about how good someone is.

Everyone would expect Bute to win because while sturdy, johnson is in no way elite. If Bute wins a legit KO then it would be a bonus. It would add a bit to the win given that johnson has never been stopped before. But it won't suddenly make johnson elite

Nice of you to teach me.
Okey, let's talk. So you say it's about styles, yes? Well sometimes yeah but not now. Why not now? Maybe because the boxer we're talking about has 68 Fights, and fought guys like: Hopkins, Dawson, Froch, Cloud, Tarver, Roy Jones Jr., Ottke, Woods. We can assume he fought most all the styles possible and some variation of them and all at the highest level in the game. All those guys have different styles all of those guys are or were elite. Froch had a close fight with Johnson, even a UD will tell us at least that Bute fighting the same guy only a few months later he's not all hype how some say. Knocking Down or Out the men who fought 68 fights and never been legitimately Down is telling us that it is possible that Bute actually has something special. And I didn't say Johnson is elite(he was), but I said he gave us a nice performance against Froch so he's no bum or old or whatever you'll try to make out of him, IF this happens.

PS: Johnson has been stopped by Hopkins but not Knocked out.
