Thats NOT true BD. Vitali is NOT doing what he can. What he could be doing is promoting his fight and drawing attention to the ambush that has just occurred in his homeland.
The sports stage is the largest platform on which a man can make a stance, and Vitali sits atop it as a king.

He signed a contract to fight and now half way throught the training camps, he ran off to play super hero. Honor your commitments and respect the other fighter and his country.

What the **** are the Klits gonna do politically for Ukraine anyway? They can't even bring one of their big fight to Ukraine, so that shows how much they care for the people. I'm sure the people of Ukraine saw his hypocrisy and that's why they didn't elect Vitali the 1st time he ran for whatever he was running for.

 

Vitali is obviously looking for greater challenges. Boxrec has his listed opponent after Adamek as "Sluzhba Bezpeky Ukrayiny" on December 17. Looks badass. Should be a good fight.

 

I don't care for this. One man, in Vitali's case a failed politician, isn't going to make a difference by being in Ukraine a month sooner than he otherwise could be. He could have used the press from September's victory (he wins in boxing, fails in elections) to highlight the issue of Ukraine's struggle to the rest of the otherwise apathetic world. Know your place, Vitali. You can draw more attention to this issue via boxing in just a month from now than by running back to insular Kiev early. Hell, donate your entire purse to the cause, make a show of it and maybe Syria and the upcoming Egyptian elections won't completely outshine Ukraine's notably white (and thus less interesting to the media) struggles. Beat Adamek and retire. At least don't **** him and Poland over by delaying more than a matter of weeks.

Edit: I didn't realize Vitali leads the opposition party. I only knew of the failed mayoral runs. Anyway, I'm glad to hear this news was bull**** and Vitali is back in camp.

 

I have had two things come crashing down on me since the start of this thread.

1.) There is a very real chance that Vitalyis being used by this opposition party. They appear to be a party of earstwhile Oligarchs who are using the platform of democracy as a caveat to win the populus and inturn **** the country's resources. Similar to what was done in Russian until Putin crippled them.

2.) Jisi is a ****ing nut of the highest order. If Vitaly saved a pick up truck full of babies from going off a cliff she would find fault with him. But if Wlad preceded to unload that same pick up full of babies with a pitch fork, she would praise him.

2a.) Stupidity makes strange bedfellows.

 

yes, when vitali fights him, because adamek is wbc number 1 chalenger . if not its not a mandatory date. the same with kevin johnson. he was number 2 and the wbc set the fight as a mandatory defence. never the wbc strips vitali for not fighting adamek, because his last mandatory defence was against solis!

Vitali better should have sent a video of support to his country with a post card. What the **** is he going to the there anyways, but get his own ass arrested? This is totally disrespectful of Adamek, especially considering that Tymoshenko is no saint and the charges against her have likely some validity. This can carry on for years. If Vitali postpones this **** he has shown total disrespect to Adamek and to Poland which was going to see its first HW championship fight. Again, totally unnecessary as the Tymoshenko saga will likely drag on for years.No vested communist politician in the Ukraine will actually listen that what Vitali has to say. Vitalia just bitched out of a fight - i.e., his most meaningful way to make a political statement. If he won, he could have had the HBO stage to make his statements about whats going on in Ukraine and that would have been perceived as honorable. Pulling out of an important fight (whether you like it or not, Adamek is the second most accomplished opponent Vitali will face in his career) is not honorable. Vitali ¨The Ghost¨ Klitschko.

BTW. I sincerely hope all this talk of skipping this fight is nonsense. I really do. Adamek seems primed right now for this challenge. I´d hate to see this delayed 6 months or more.
