See DLH/ JCC 1...Khan would pick JCC apart with his speed and jab.

Not only does he beat all 4 of them, none of them will hear the final bell.

Chavez would beat all of them, most likely by stoppage.

I think Khan would give him the most trouble, early on at least. Chavez would get to him sooner or later though, and his pressure and body-punching would lead to the stoppage, sometime after round 7.

I don't see Bradley giving him any real trouble (the funniest part of this thread was someone describing him as "slick"). JCC beats him up badly on the inside and the best Bradley could hope to do is lose a wide decision by staying on his bike.

Maidana and Matthysse are going to come straight forward and initiate exchanges. Need I even say how that'll end?

no, i'm dead serious. Been watching boxing for over 20 years and JCC always had trouble with speed and skill. Khan woulda De La Hoya'd JCC.

WELL THATS WHY I AGREE THAT kAHN WOULD DO WELL AND LOOK GOOD EARLY.. BUt were talking a prime or near prime Chavez.. Not the late 90s version but the early 90s... And that Chavez is underrated in the speed department.. Deceptively quick hands,,, AN add on being one of the most accurate punchers in history, good power,Legendeary body punching and hed break Kahn down.. Or he might not even have to do that, whiile not a one punch ko artist Chavez stillhit hard enough to hurt or ko Kahn... Remember the late 90s and earyly 00verrsion was pretty slow afoot and couldnt pull the trigger like he used too.. Near prime Chavez was on your chest and eventually always cut off the ring on movers.,, Look at how Maidana was able to make him fight his fight and get to him late..... and Maidana is not even on the same planet as JC....

Besides Kahn although very talented is not OScar.. Doesnt have half the chin, power and as a ring general he hasnt proved himself yet to be on OSCARs level... SPeed wise, height, jab similar but thats not gonna work here against a Near prime Chavez.... In fact i think Kahn might have his hands full or lose to the past it Chavez that ODLH beat,at least the one in the 2nd fight... Even that Chavez was alot better than Maidana,id probably even make that version of JC even money with Kahn.,,

Only version hed have his way with would be the shot one who got kod by Tszyu,.

Khan doesn't have the generalship or footwork to keep it at long range against Chavez, nor the skills at in or mid range to hang once Chavez closes the distance.

Chavez was a master at cutting off the ring and effective with slipping and rolling with shots. He'd grind down Khan and give him a beating.

Khan might have a decent shot against the mid 90s Chavez, but not the JCC of the late 80s/early 90s.

And yeah, 2000 Chavez gets whooped by Khan and the other top guys at 140. The WBC is so disgraceful.

I think JMM gives any of the great Latin pressure fighters trouble, because he is basically their inverse. A lot of the inside tricks and outside counters he uses are ones that the likes of Duran and JCC use to use to get inside, while he employs them going backwards and against his opponents' momentum. Lightweight Marquez isn't sharp enough to win against either, I think, unless he's freshly moved up in this scenario without too much aging. Some people think this might be an overrating of JMM, but he fights to the level of opposition and never lost decisively south of welterweight.

Those saying Khan would challenge Chavez should remember Taylor was both better than Khan and fought a past-it Chavez. That chin would be broken, glass or not.
