I'm not. I don't think emmanuel skill set is at the level where he can stop Juan Marquez

Yea I know. I don't expect it to happen. In all honesty I believe Floyd will TKO Ortiz. If it does he will get beat by Manny. Also everyone has problems with southpaws. Even southpaws do. Its not like Floyd almost lost to one.

Manny doesn't need to stop Marquez, but if it's another controversial decision, he has little chance against Mayweather.

i agree. if the smaller, older marquez can keep the supposedly improved pac at bay, floyd should be able to do it much easier.

nothing, pac is an altogether different fighter from ortiz. floyd is expected to perform well against ortiz anyway. it's his condition that people have doubts about. i don't see this as a close fight anyway, floyd will cruise over 12 rounds aginst ortiz.

He should outclass him , and it doesnt say anything. Ortiz is b-level. The question is does Ortiz give Floyd problems, which I expect him too early on if he actually shows up to fight. If he does it should remind people why Floyd isn't unbeatable. Prime for prime I know Pacquiao beats Floyd, that's not even up in the air for me. I'm just wondering how many times Floyd has to look vulnerable against southpaws for people to open their eyes a little bit.

Please tally the rounds won vs the rounds lost against southpaws and revisit this inaccurate statement.

All Floyd has to do is win and the same goes for Pacquiao also. Winning any fight isn't always easy

people have already said he struggles a little against southpaws....as do alot of fighters its not uncommon...what you really want is for people to believe pac will just beat him like you do but fact is.....some just dont see it that way actualy quite a few dont see it that way.

Fact every southpaw he has faced he has still won handidly

Last counterpuncher someone else had....he struggled severely TWICE.

when will you realize Floyd is far superior to JMM and that Pac is in for deep trouble against Floyd?

Prime for Prime....any weight...anytime....Floyd hands Pac his ass...."thats not even up in the air for me":good

It depends. Ortiz has power, Mayweather can get spaghetti-legs from single shots, we already know both of these things, so if Ortiz hurts Floyd a few times but Floyd fights through it and wins anyway, it won't be anything surprising to me. But if Ortiz actually manages to land combinations on Floyd, win rounds convincingly, and make it very close on the cards, then it will most definitely strengthen my belief that Manny has all the tools to defeat Floyd emphatically.

Please expound on this. He stopped, Mitchell, dropped Corley 4 times in route to a lopsided UD, and beat Judah in alopsided UD.

Zab won 2-3 rounds in his fight with Mayweather.

The other southpaws won a grand total of zip.

I'd pic just about any version of Pacquiao over Floyd. He's a terrible style matchup for him. I know I'll never convince you of that, so I'm not gonna go there. I've given real indepth anaylsis of that fight plenty of times.

The problem is ya'll look at everything in black and white. Pacquiao struggling with a counterpuncher doesn't say anything about how a potential Floyd fight would go. JMM is a different kind of counter puncher then Floyd - different habits , different styles. Barrera and Morales are good counter punchers too, and Pac destroyed them. Look at what JMM actually did to give Pacquiao problems and realize that Floyd does none of those things.
