Here is something you'll love. It is about Pacquiao. Better than the Mona Lisa right? This content is protected
That's Richard T. Slone's work. He does a lot of Boxing paintings, mainly for the bigger fights. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected http://www.sloneart.com/portal/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=116&Itemid=133
I knew I'd seen that signature before....his stuff is in the ring often, if not on the cover sometimes.
This content is protected Poochiao taking a dump? Or is he getting blown by one of his 89274782 mistress's the US media does not care to report? Poochiao aint no saint, believe that. The Artwork is fresh thoe. That May Ortiz one needs to have blood gushing out of Victor's neck and the head rolling by May's feet thoe.
Yeah, he gets paid $10K to do a cover for The Ring mag, while I'll sell paintings to ESB members for $500. He's got his style & I've got mine. The guy is good, no doubt. His work is very "artsey" which means original & thats what counts. He is kinda a copy of LeRoy Neimann, though. I'm gonna break new ground soon. Adjust my appraoch & style to painting. Try to do the social networking thing after I put together a Facebook art page, etc. Maybe a Youtube vid. Time to make some big bucks!!!
The style he is using is like a watercolor, light & washy, only he's using opague color like oils or acrylic. Painting like those can be completed in 2 or 3 sittings. 15-18 hrs...$10K. My work takes constant working of areas until a feeling of solidity is developed. His paintings are airy, while mine have substance. Its all a matter of what peals your banana. Seeing this "up close" in this great Nikon image actually detracts from the quality of the painting. Any oil painting should be viewed from at least 10 ft away. This way, your eye can do alot of the mixing of colors & it all comes together. Seeing it up close like this is kinda shocking to the senses! This content is protected
