Froch is European and has not been exposed. He lost a razor-close fight to Kessler in Denmark. Hardly an "exposure". Of course, Andre Ward might expose him soon.
Yep, This is why so many threads talk about him on ESB. Don't worry, we know you love him deep inside u. :hi:
Andre Dirrell would be my first choice for Bute, he could possibly be off 1.5 years by fight time and I don't know if Showtime deals with him again but thats a good fight. Anthony Dirrell is an option kind of out of left field. He looks to have some talent but is very untested. I know Andre made a big leap when he took on Froch but his competition to that point was clearly better than Anthony's is now. I like the idea of a young guy other than an old Johnson but guys like Dirrell, Quillen, Edwin Rodriguez, etc are all promising but not quite ready for Bute so I think Johnson is still the top option right now of everyone mentioned.
You are like the American version of Bailey. He overhypes every Euro fighter, and you deride every Euro. Dirrell isn't schooling **** in this fight.
Froch has never been exposed. Lost a close decision in a fight that was competitive. Let's see what happens against Ward... I hope Ward doesn't have his horns on.
The proper setup would be to fight both- beat Anthony in the fall, and then you have a built in revenge angle to hype the Andre fight in early 2012. The winner gets the Super 6 winner for a superfight. It makes sense to me, I'd just be hoping for anything but a Froch-Dirrell rematch lol
I agree with you. Anthony should fight at least a couple top 20 guys before he falls for being part of Bute's marketing plan, but it might be tough to turn down the up front payday of a Bute fight even if it doesn't give him the best chance to win.
After raising two hypes like Kessler and Abrahams, it's apparent that the Danes and Germans have a completely flip-flopped understanding of the word, exposed. :rofl:yep
