That's not the point... the problem is does the guy want to fight Wlad or milk out his title for a couple of years (if he's capable of it)? Recent history says the latter is very likely.

Helenius may very well be the guy, but since is says "legit," I think that Pulev and Helenius will both be beaten in the Kilt era and Glazkov will be the guy after all is said and done.

Is that even possible? Has this ever happened before?
I know that WBC dont rank other champions so how will they allow him to fight their #1?

You think Wlad should get shot for the vacant title when Vitali retires?

Why it would be the right thing to do? I dont think champion of other major organization, has ever fought for other major organizations vacant belt

Boytsov has certainly caught my attention. Also Bogdan Dinu.

    - Of course it's too soon to really know with either guy, but they both have massive potential, and there are no other HW prospects that even have a remote chance at this point. IMO, these are THE two heavyweights to watch.

Possible, why not? Don't think it ever happened before, but with all the bends they took in their "rulebook" why not?
Yes, you understood me correctly! :yep Don't you think so?
Because the "championship" belongs with the #1 in the division, not with some MexiCan for example because he's from the right country.
Everybody knows Wlad is the clear #1 when Vitali retires, even the ones that hate his guts. Every other hw with the WBC belt will be just another beltholder who just hasn't fought the best out there yet.
Like I said above, it never happened before as far as I know... but why can't they bend their rules for something good for once.

Nope. I think it would be unfair to bend rules for Klitchkos.

Thats one way to think it. I somewhat like the idea someone else winning the vacant title and then building unification fight with Wladimir. (or whoever the champ is at that time)

They bend the rules for others (Mexicans for the most part), why not bend it straight for once?
What's more important... building towards a unification fight or having an instant unification fight and a undisputed champion?

I dont support any bending of rules. They should make one rule set and stick with it.

I like the building process more. also that way we get to see other top contenders mixing it up.

too slow and not enough power. He can pick on the little guys but a bigger strong guy will play him like a drum

My prediction is that happens. I'd guess the opponent will be Fury, Arreola or Adamek.

No matter who wins it, Wlad beats the hell out of them, and unifies.

Wlad probably sticks around to whatever age Vitali retires at then makes a graceful exit.

Wlad might also consider trying to break Joe Louis title defense record since he is closer to it now than anyone has ever been. He only needs about 10 more defenses.

Wlad should drop his ABCs belts soon, but The Ring, to help build up legit oponents for him to fight.
