Hearns had him cut to shreds and hurt after only three rounds, rarely do you see a demolition happen that quickly to a boxer.

He was quite the agressive fighter in his youth though, some good ko's.

I don't think its that much of a ludicrous statement tbh. I think Bernard wins, a KO is pushing it but Hearns didn't have the greatest of chins and Hopkins could crack at middleweight

Leonard didn't make much noise about a comeback after Hagler flattened Hearns a year earlier, thats for sure!

Once again, like Pascal, Taylor etc Dawson has ALL the talent and physical attributes to beat Hopkins. Its whether or not he has the mindset and smarts to do so.

People need to realise Hopkins can be mentioned in the same breath of ALL OF THE GREATS. Was he capable of KOing Hearns?! Hell yeah, why not? Thats not no disrespect to Hearns as he is also an all time great, a legend.

I don't think this is too unlikely. Peak Hopkins at middleweight, its possible. Not the most likely outcome but not the most ridiculous suggestion either.

Hearns had all the tools of B-Hop with the 1 punch KO power. The Hitman would've been to much for him and would have definately won by unanimous decision
