Does Froch stand any chance against Ward?

Ward is not a dirty fighter, but yes Froch has a chance. Froch is longer, physically stronger, has underrated boxing skills, and a chin made of granite. I think both men are in for a long night. Consider that Dirrell is taller, faster, and a better outside fighter than Ward. Froch was able to keep it close with Dirrell(with the help of the ref) and I think he will be the toughest opponent Ward has faced.

I understand I didn't say how Froch will win but I'm not counting him out.

Mate ..... ward **** himself in the first 3 rounds against Abraham
by his strength and power ..... and to be honest Abrahams workrate was slow
    and predictable

To Ward's Credit he made the Adjustments in the fight and got the UD

    BUT .....

    He Was Allowed to :deal

Abraham is a confident Fighter/Puncher ..... who had his confidence
TAKEN AWAY from him in his last TWO FIGHTS .... he was mentally broken
Yeah he give it a go early on /all for broke

but he didnt have the confidence/ or skills / or boxing brain to do anything about it !!!!!!

    FROCH WILL BRUTALLISE HIM :deal

The Cobra will Bend himover without lubrication and **** him dry

wards little.... headbutt/hold/forearm technique would'nt hold off .....RACHAEL CORDINGLEY :deal

    Thats Froch's BAG :deal

Carl will fight like john wayne and ward's bum will go boo :|

just look at the froch/johnson post fight interview

carl looks andre in the face like a man

andre's bum is twitching like a rabbits nose :deal

Sure, he has a chance. He'll need to go out of his comfort zone a bit though. If he tries to box, he's toast. But I think he can do about everything Sakio Bika can do and more, and I gave Bika 3 or 4 rounds of their fight. If he fights dirty and wears down Ward to the body, and then starts to fight on the outside after about round 7, I can see him winning a decision or possibly even knocking out Ward late. Problem is that Ward is just a much more intelligent fighter in the ring than Froch, and thus is a lot more likely to make proper mid-fight adjustments.

I like Froch and hope he wins, but I think Ward will have answer for everything Froch does.

    why?

Two notable Brits in big fights got decisions against Americans in relatively recent close fights. Calzaghe and Hatton (vs Collazo, debatable).

If Froch fights anything like Sakio Bika did against Ward I will be very surprised.

Froch is a rangy jabber who keeps his hands low and is not known for mixing it up and mauling on the inside. Ward, on the the other, loves the inside game. Very comfortable there, knows all the tricks.

Froch has already let out his gameplan. He thinks Ward is not good when he has to be the agressor. Froch will therefore "hang back" and force Ward to take the lead, hoping to counter him.

Not sure where this Ward speed advantage is coming from. Froch has faster hands than Ward.

I think he stands as much chance as Kessler did.

Any bets on who comes in as the favorite?

Oh he definitely has a chance...I actually cant stand Froch but he is a good solid fighter and has some skills, he will keep on at Ward and if Ward slips up, Carl will make him pay for it, you can be sure of that. Smart money on Ward but I will deinitely be taking a punt on Froch for sure, odds should be pretty sweet for a late Froch stoppage. Who said that Froch cant fight on the inside and doesnt like to mix it up? How about the Kessler and Pascal fights?

If you look at Ward's Fights He see 95% of everything coming so nothing from Froch will be a surprise.. as slow as he is Froch needs to worry about putting himself outta position and in the way of being countered..

.......... Obviously the guy who removed the WBC belt from Froch's Waist is no one.. I guess the guy Froch went life and death with and then Blamed the Volcano of all things for him losing... GTFOH... Ward and Froch have 2 common opponents.. I read most of your post and more diarrhea comes from you than anything remotely intelligent..

Truth.. But I don't think people are saying Ward beat Kessler, Froch Lost to Kessler, that meand that Ward Beats Froch..

Let the excuse making continue.. ever since both these guys made the final this type of weaksauce has been the norm...

I hope Froch fights the way you say he will.. because holding his hands by his side trying to fight will get his face smashed.. Ward doesn't have to win a stare down at a post fight interview.. thats silly... Already Carl Froch is going Andre Dirrell pre fight with Ward... Ward is waiting till the bell sounds cause wont be no talkin just chin checkin..

    This...:deal

    ill wait too...
