Man, you guys are highballing the **** out of this one.

300K? lol get the **** outta here. There's no chance of these two guys pulling that number.

    100k or below.

300k is possible, that would be classed as a success.

I'd be surprised if it's 150k. I can't believe so many people have voted more than that. By way of comparison, Hopkins-Jones generated under 100k, and it's not like Dawson is any kind of draw. And being sandwiched between two other huge PPVs, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it does less than 75k.

    I love both these fighters.

However, IMO, casuals will NOT come out to buy this one. It will be bought by hardcore fans only, and there's just not that many.

Not to mention it's in a group of 3 HBO PPV's in 3 months time, and folks will be more likely to spend the PPV $$ on Floyd vs. Ortiz and Pac vs. Marquez, leaving pockets thin even if they wanted to buy it.

IMO, due to styles, this fight is gonna stink bad.

Would LOVE to be wrong about it though.

It may have to a degree, but $55.00 for PPV popular when there are 2 others in a relatively close time frame involving Pac and Floyd is gonna make it tough.

even if his popularity has increased, his style still makes him kind of difficult for those expecting a war with big KO's..unless he fights a big name he doesnt get big numbers at PPV,and Chad isnt the man to help him with it.
