I evaluated n gave a response (if u missed it go back and read man)..

this thread has 0 to do with you asking me questions though....i am the thread starter and again...THIS THREAD IS ABOUT WHY "MOST PAC FANS" thought Tony was so dangerous but Floyd is "garbage" (amongst other things said in different posts)

so please explain how Tony is so great and Floyd is "garbage"..

and if u don't agree with that statement (which you probably don't because u seem to be a pretty knowledgable fan) then please say so...

im just asking the majority opinion to explain:deal

i'd like to know how this is possible given the skill set seen on tv, records, times knocked down, times hit, etc. etc...

So....in Red: I was actually one who thought that Floyd was hesitant to fight Shane Mosley. But I gave him props for signing to fight Mosley. Then after the fight I saw that Mosley was not the Mosley of old, but just an old Mosley. I still give Floyd props for actually fighting Mosley, but in retrospect I can't call it one of his biggest wins because of the version of Mosley that showed up. This is the same exact situation (at least to me) as Pac had with Oscar...props for taking the fight, but a **** Oscar came to the ring.

In Yellow: I don't really know what to tell you man. Floyd will never be an easy fight for Pac and vice versa. Each will pose as the biggest threat to the other (outside of Maravilla). I think what happened was you got trolled and you took it to heart. Nobody in their right mind will or should think this will be easy for either Pac or Floyd.

that is your opinon..the previous fight shows otherwise...it isn't floyds fault that the mosley (you discredit this mosley but at the same time he wasn't so discredited after the Tony fight, nor after the JMM-Floyd fight)..

In fact..post JMM fight this forum was BLOWING UP SAYING FLOYD WOULD NEVER (THINK OF WHAT "NEVER" LITERALLY MEANS) FIGHT SHANE...

UUHHHH THEIR FAULT...TO MY KNOWLEDGE HE FOUGHT HIM THE VERY NEXT FIGHT..

ALSO CAN U EXPLAIN (Literally) why shane was a danger to Floyd in 9/19/11 through 1/2010 but once Floyd actually took an interest, Shane was no longer "Scary":think

please explain with a valid argument...(most likely you wont be able to, I know...)still though...how is it that Floyd is scared of Shane in 9/09 but 3 months later he is "cherry picking shane"

    :think

I said that FLoyd would fight Mosley next months before they signed the contract. I knew it was gonna happen and I called it.

Also, remember what people were saying about Pac vs Oscar, look what they are saying now. It's 10 times worse than Floyd-Mosley. **** like that happens to every fighter.

good post on the 2nd paragraph!

as for the first, YOU thought it would happen...but face it Philla...most pac fans said he wouldnt touch it....

THEN when he did touch it...MOST PAC FANS SAID HE WOULD NOT BE THE ONE MOVING FORWARD...HE WAS THE ONE-FACT

THEN he was "only moving forward because his legs were shot"..cmon now....u just said he wouldn't move forward (not u but the majority of pac fans) and he did but now u discredit him for "not running"

No wonder why Floys says no matter what he can't win...if he runs he is in for it, if he stands and boxes while moving forward he is n for it........................................................................................................................................shame.:deal:bbb

Gotta go as I work early..I will say that Pac fans should respect this thread...I gave props where its due (see some more threads for facts in me favoring Pac) and I gave valid responses while keeping the bias out...

Floyd fans can ya'll keep this thread going while I hit some sleep up!!

That's fine and all, I mean you can interpret things the way you want to. But since you are so interested in facts here's one....

"Both times, the fight was very close to being made. And, the second time around, you know, all I can say is that you would have to ask Floyd Mayweather why the fight wasn't made. To this day, I really don't know why Floyd decided that he didn't want the fight anymore in the fall."....."To this day, I don't know why he wanted to take some more time off. Only Floyd has that answer. I certainly don't have that answer. But, you know, it was very close. It was so, so, close. I think that it was so close that I don't think that it's going to take much to make the fight the third time around." -Ross Greenburg-

1st no one cheated because the wraps were rewrapped, 2nd Margarito was out for almost 2 years for the Pacquiao fight. Before the Mosley fight not Mayweather or Pacquiao were looking his way.
Mayweather has talent but talent doesn't always lend itself to wins. I know Mayweather is undefeated but he like Pacquiao is very selective on when they fight certain fighters. While Pacquio fights them right after a loss, Mayweather fights them after there only big win in 5 years. Pacquiao at least fights guys who are bigger. Mayweather fought Judah right after Judah lost then fights Baldimir but Margarito was the longest reigning champion @147 at the time. Mayweather never faced Cotto, Clottey, Margarito Williams or Martinez. Margarito faced them all! So who really has the better harder resume?
It's easy to discredit most of those fights now but at the time those fighters were alive and active.
Mayweather has been fooling the public with smoke and mirrors. After Sept 17 everyone will see he was a phoney.

    still got pacman nightmares?

well, to answer your question, styles makes fights. A can be very good vs B but loses to C who defeated B.

i wont be surprised if you wont agree coz you are a *****.

Right...and we now know that Floyd all but confirmed Ross was right when he said in an interview (u can find it on youtube if u want a source as im beat tired right now; working 3 kidnapping cases is tough)If u want me to say Ross Greenburg is a liar I'm not gonna, etc..."

WE DO KNOW that Floyd said this because Pac immideately said he not gonna take the tests...So if he not gonna take the tests then why "negotiate" when that is "non negotiable"..I BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT FLOYD MEANT WHEN HE SAID "THERE WERE NEVER ANY NEGOTIATIONS."The first word out of Floyd's mouth was probably "they gonna take the tests up until the day of?" and he got an answer along the lines of "no"..Floyd probably told his team "hey see what you can do with it then, n lemme know...." all in all Floyd's team probably pursued it but in the end WE ALL KNOW HE WOULD NEVER GIVE UP ON THOSE TESTS..

HMMM...COINCIDENCE NOW THAT MANNY SAID HE WILL TAKE EM, THAT FLOYD SAID HE'LL NOW FIGHT HIM.HMMMMM....

now this was off THREAD TOPIC and who cares since every other thread gets off topic..

but to the debate ..I think i've got ya my man...u put up some VERY NICE arguments...I just don't see you've gotten much of anywhere (factually speaking)....

these pac fans (majority) still claimed Tony was "so so good" and those same posters said Floyd was a cherrypicker, garbage, scared, etc etc..

so what imm sayin is i owned this thread with my facts n opinions which were backed by these facts...

    good stuff though!:hat

ur fault..yup that is one forumula...I AGREE, DON'T DISAGREE!

THERE HAS BEEN MANY TIMES WHERE A BEATS B, C BEATS B, AND C BEATS A.

NEXT PLEASE CUZ IT WAS TOO EASY TO PROVE THIS WRONG..

IF YOUR GONNA DEBATE WITH ME PLEASE DON'T BASE IT OFF "WHAT YOU THINK U KNOW ABOUT ME"

I COULD CARE LESS REALLY..THIS IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE BY ANY MEANS:deal:patsch

INSTEAD FOCUS ON THE TOPIC AT HAND IF U WANNA 'GET ON MY NERVES"..

MAKING FUN OF "ME" IS MUTE AS I AM ONLY HERE TO DEBATE AND PROVE A POINT..

SAYING "FUK U" IN A REBUTTTAL IS GARBAGE...

REBUTTALING WITH A VERY GOOD REBUTTAL GETS ON MY NERVES AS IT PROVES WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY..

WITH THAT SAID I COULD GIVE A FUK ABOUT WHAT "I AM TO YOU"..:hat

As always, it takes a ***** to start a dumb thread and a bunch of *****s to justify how good the thread is.
