People say it was JMM boxing ability that frustrated manny but I think it was the Power from Marquez counter punches that were making MP struggle

Manny never had a hard time catching him. he seemed to respect marquez a lot (after he felt the power) bar the first round of there first fight when Marquez amazingly survived a storm

Imn not of the opinion that manny struggles with boxers like a mayweather. people are fancying PBF based on this fight but i sthink they have diffferent styles and most importantly diffrent attributes

    Timing and accuracy, not power.

No it was his ability to counter, he's a sharp puncher and is very accurate. His power good, not excellent. Pac has fought many fighters with better power than JMM, but JMM cause him more trouble because of his ability to counter, his movement, and his timing.

Juan Diaz will definitely agree with me on this. it only took one powerful counter left to turn his fight with JMM

You said it yourself, COUNTER left. It was the precision in which he landed those counters with not the power. JMM has good power, not great power. Pac has fought fighters far more powerful than JMM that didn't cause him those kinds of problems. It was his ability, not his power.

It's mostly the skill, but a feather-fisted version of Marquez would not have been able to do that. He definitely has good power, and it goes a long way when complimented with his superb accuracy and timing.

power definitely had something to do with it. Especially in the first fight.

That was only Pac's 2nd fight at FW and according to Roach his initial plan was to move back down to 122 after the Barrera fight cause he could still make that weight easily.

A combination of timing, speed, power, precision, combination punching, and grit. Had he lacked any of those he wouldnt of survived Pacman.

It is Marquez' style that bothered Pac.

Marquez has the reputation of being a boxer and he indeed boxes when at his option, but against brawlers, Marquez fights fire with fire. That, coupled with his durability (surviving if he gets hurt) makes him a difficult fight for Pac.

Well the precision and power of his counter punches really gained PACs respect. but imn not of the opinion that Manny struggles with movement based on these fights

Were you under the impression that it was Diaz's fight up to that point??? Because I got news for ya, Marquez took control of that fight by about the 4th round. Learn how to score a fight.

I think Marquez just has Pac figured out in terms of timing. I expect another war.
