They were around the 1M -1.2M mark if I remember correctly? Way short of the 2.4M that Oscar - Floyd did.

I don't believe they had the hype of Oscar - Floyd though, and factoring in the first 24-7 that was run as well to help suck in more of the casuals would surely have added to the buy rate. Everyone can agree that Floyd sells really well on the back of 24-7 as well as it gives him more opportunity to play up his bad boy, trash talking persona.

No matter which way you look at it, that fight sold incredibly well. Other than the obvious, I can't see another fight selling as well for a long time.

Oscar was doing 1mil+ ppv prior to Floyd while Floyd's biggest ppv was 350k against Baldomir.

Remember, I never once said that Floyd wasnt a big draw. I admit he is. All i'm asking is, are his ppv #'s inflated due to the popularity of his opponents? I think everyone would have to say yes.

As for Mosley, he was never a big ppv attraction alone, but was a very popular fighter who had worldwide recognition from his high profile fights with Oscar.

You're an angry dude. Dring some cranberry juice. It'll help flush the sand out your clit.

Floyd/Oscar was the biggest promoted fight in the history of the sport. It was even billed as "The Fight To Save Boxing" and many bought into it.

Most people on this thread are disagreeing with you. Tell me dope, if Oscar fought Baldomir, would his PPV's reach 1 million buys? Please say yes and prove how dumb you are.

Mosley was not very popular at all. If he was popular at all, he wouldnt have been on those BAD telecasts, he would have been on PPV. If Mosley was popular he'd be doing atleast 300,000.

Tell me moron, what was the buyrate for Mosley vs Mora after the Mayweather fight. That was ppv. how'd that do dope. :rofl
Yep I'll DRING some cranberry juice. :rofl

Floyd needs a major B side to sell. Everyone knows that. He may think he's the new DLH, but DLH sold well vs. **** opponents.

So now 1 mill is the bar to be considered 'selling well', as I put it? You know, selling 300-400K is considered selling well.

And he still out sells pacquiao with the same opponents so I guess that's exaggerated

In that case, Mayweather has never had a ppv fight do below 350K buys. That includes Baldomir.
