I think most people scored it a close but clear win for BHop. Pascal edged out some of the closer rounds but Hops was clearly the better fighter.

116-112 Hopkins. Close but CLEAR no way you can score that fight a draw and it would be a complete robbery to give the fight to Pascal.

Why is this decsion even being brought into question...Its a clear victory for Hopkins and nobody cant dispute that fact.

He beat Pascal soundly...Hell, Pascal will probably tell you he didnt do enough to get the nod...You can tell by their body language in both of their respected bouts.

Still stalking me . So much for your ignore list. You still sulking after I upset you on the Mayweather thread :smooch
Where has it been anti anybody? Please answer as I said as a fight overall I think Hopkins won.
As said do answer Brighton bummer, because we both know that you wont have a sensible one :patsch

Hey Bummer look at my thread again

Why do people not acknowledge that Hopkins/Pascal 2 was a close fight?

, but the Hopkins/Pascal rematch could have gone either way.
The journalist reporting in The Ring mag said watching ringside he scored the fight 115-114 Pascal, but when reviewing changed his score to 115-113 Hopkins.
He claimed also that some seasoned fight journalists lining press row saw it as a stalemate.

I on first reflection saw an even fight when scoring round by round but as a fight

I will have to watch again.

I understand Hopkins is an American legend but that shouldnt influence scoring or opinions.

So how did you really score Hopkins/Pascal 2 and did you think it was a close fight that you could have seen going either way?

I bet as usual you will make a comment then hide

Hopkins lost the fight with second fight Pascal, although I thought he won the first one. They were both close.

The first fight could have gone either way or a draw was also fine. The second fight wasn't a close fight, it was a clear win for Hopkins. Anyone that scored that one for Pascal must have issues.

b-hop was the better fighter in both fights. i had pascal in the first and thought he lost even with all the knockdowns.

I rescored reid vs joe in favour of joe, yes. I was far more impressed with his jab this time round.

Last night was the first time I scored hopkins, joe since the fight when I had joe winning 10-2. The nature of the fight prevented me from watching it again (maybe I rewatched it that week or something when it was still a big deal) but unfortunately for me I was in a mind numbing conversation against some idiot claiming vital klitschko had a better resume than norton, can you believe it? He was boring me so much that watching hopkins-joe seemed appealing to me. Anyways I had it 115-112. My score card is on the scorecard thread in classic forum.

But yes, as you so astutely point out, my most recent scoring of these two fights differs from my original scoring.

Whats it matter? How does this relate to Calzaghe in your mind?
