Allow me to educate those who buy in to the glass chin theory.

Good thread. I think Golota is a great example of people crying wolf. Golota had a great chin, but he let his mind get in the way when he was a beast(A-level fighter). He had whiskers.

    OP should ragequit life.

Terrible example of confirmation bias and internet toughguying.

Not taking anything away from Kirk, I applaud the effort and initiative.

However, Kirk is not the mastermind Rummy is, nor does he have the immaculate, well oiled machine that is our team of role players, to assure Rummy's league runs smoothly and keep up on key tasks, resulting in VERY detailed and flawless stats like clockwork. Also, Rummy's scoring system is much more straightforward and logical.

The competition there is nuts too. The best of the best are there. How do you think you'd fare, by the way?

What the ****? You just said a whole lot of nothing. Go ring a cowbell and stay in your punk ass city.

As far as internet toughguying.....I'm a few towns over from you, and my mom's near Oak Park. Care to to test your "internet toughguying" theory face to face?

We have adjusted the league to accommodate this very predicament. There are weekly winners, monthly winners, and percentages to show your accuracy despite the number of fights you pick. Not to mention, some damn solid and well knowledged people in that league

Good insights, the glass chin theory gets cracked too often. Wlad and Haye both took a few flush punches from each other and didn't seem really hurt. That 12th round punch Haye landed on Wlad should have KO'd him easily if he had such a terrible chin. Khan also showed he can take punches a lot better than he did against Prescott.

That said, there are probably some purely physical aspects to iron chins. Hagler's extra thick muscle on his temple that made him impervious to hooks or more liquid between the brain and the skull come to mind.

I understand what you're saying. There's some truth in your post, but unfortunately, there are just as many flaws in it.

Yes, LEGS.....a HUGE part of conditioning, in ANY sport. You just contradicted yourself while agreeing and disagreeing with me at the same time. I covered half of what you said in the OP.

Key word: COMPREHEND! Don't disagree for the sake of disagreeing, that would just be lame.

I really want to disagree with Mr Fanning, but then I thought of kimbo slice. On the street I've seen him take a flush, bare knuckle shot and not be fazed (look it up on youtube). Then I saw him in a match where Seth Petrazelli stunned him with a simple jab, with 4oz gloves, to the point where kimbo couldn't recover and lost his first professional fight. I still can't explain this.
