I think this would be perfect for him. with his punching power alone he could do something. and he is athletic.......so maybe he can actually learn a few kicks. and best of all: all he needs to do is go 3 rounds!!! his stammina is much more suited for that then for 12 rounds imo. thoughts??
Yeah, he would be pretty decent in either one. I remember him awhile back doing some MMA, I guess the money wasnt good enough for him or something.
I think Briggs would easily knock out anyone if caught them flush, his punch is probably twice as hard as anything any MMA guy ever felt. Like 50% of his 48 wins were by 1st round KO, the man had serious knockout power.
Have you seen what kind of physical condition those guys have to be in to survive those matches? Briggs would have one swing, maybe two, and then die of exhaustion.
O please.Briggs these days cant even come in shape to box 12 rounds let alone mix it up in the K1 or MMA.He wouldnt stand a chance.His musclebound slow as molasses and suffers from asthma.
Shannon Briggs has already had one fight in K-1. Shannon KO'd Tom Erikson (Wrestler) in the first round back in 2005.
I don't think Briggs has the stamina or agility for K-1. Sure it's only three rounds, but it's three HARD rounds. And is he going to be mobile enough to avoid leg kicks from someone who knows what they are doing?
Yeah I agree. He would also look way less ridiculous then in boxing. I definately DON'T agree with yuo that he is athletic. because he is everything exept that. Floyd, jones jr, Gamboa, those guys are examples of person's being athletic. Not Briggs, not at all
