Yeah Pajo has been fighting the same class of opponents fpr the past couple of years, Europeans with decent records but who pose little trouble. There are plenty of good opponents for Pajo In Europe alone to fight. I think fights Stephen Smith, John Simpson, Martin Lindsay or the European champion oleg Yefemovich would all improve his ranking and give him a very tough test if he wants one. Simpson said he was moving down to super-bantamweight so thats not a likely fight to be made.

Munroe is at featherweight now though aint he? And hes still big at that weight too. Think he has a bull**** bauble too so they could unify their shite.

I have to say it was nice watching the fight last night on TG4 fair play to them for showing the fight. Shame my Irish is **** couldnt understand a word but it was better than nothing. Hopefully Peters can do a deal and the numbers were decent for them to commit to showing boxing live on TG4 in the coming months.
The 2 live fights were ok. Hyland looked good but is it just me who is hoping that he will step up to the next level. Must have a chance of winning the European title. Its a shame that Martin Lindsay got beaten as that would of been a fight to see Lindsay v Hyland. Anyone know when Lindsay is fighting again?

Yeah he did move up to featherweight. Call me crazy but I would give Pajo a good chance against Munroe. I think he has the style to give munroe a ot of trouble, Pajo has quick hands, a good offense and a good body attack. In fact if his defense wasnt so leaky I would have him a clear winner.

Thanks BigEars I didn't realise it was another waffler title that got Fitz his ranking. This alphabetty spaghetti is melting my brain!

I thought Munroes last fight for the superspoofer WBA title was at Super Bantamweight. I've heard about him moving up but I didn't think he'd fought at the weight.

No Munroe is still at Super-Bantamweight, but your right about him holding one of the trinket titles (WBA International), you were possibly confused as his opponent to win that belt Andrei Isaeu normally fights at Featherweight and in the past has often fought up at Super-feather, including a fight with Kevin Mitchell.

A move up in weight for Munroe brings him back down domestic level imo, his best qualities as a fighter are his size and his strength and if he doesn't hold them over his opponent then his skills really are just British title level. Would be a good fight for Hyland to get if he could get it, but I doubt it'd ever happen.

That's nothing to be proud of. He's been feasting on tomato cans for years. Big whoop.

    Results so far;52Kg:
Michael Conlon (St John Bosco) beat Ruairi Dalton (Holy Trinity) 15-8
56Kg: Danny Coughlan (St Anne's) lost to Tyrone McCullagh (Holy Family GG) 4-8
60Kg: Mark O'Hara (Holy Trinity) lost to David Oliver Joyce (St Michael's Athy) 5-15
60Kg: Katie Taylor (Ireland) beat Vandellen Willeke (Holland) 22-4
64Kg: Ross Hickey (Grangecon) beat Sonny Upton (Holy Family) 19-12
69Kg: Roy Sheehan (St Michael's Athy) beat Michael O'Reilly (Portlaoise) 14-10
75Kg: Sinead Kavanagh (Ireland) lost to Fontyn Nouchka (Holland) 10-17
75Kg: Stephen O'Reilly (Twintowns) lost to Jason Quigley (Finn Valley) 16-23

Roy Sheehan has proved me wrong three times now so well done, beating JJ Joyce, Nolan and O'Reilly is some weeks work, should get picked now for the Worlds IMO.
Hickey/Moylette is a conundrum though, I think a box-off but I'm sure Hickey would feel hard done by. Moylette would be seeded though and would expect to qualify. Maybe Billy Walsh should get to make the call?

Yes he should but he wont not publicly anyway, he is the same as the rest over there, deals behind doors nobody accepting responsibility, high performance picked him,the central council picked him,the officer board picked him.Jesus i just wish someone would grow a pair and say i picked him and heres why....We would think a lot more of them.
I think however that the open winners that will not get picked ie. Mc Cullough, joyce and Quigley should be brought to the training camps and given the same experience as the first team they entered they won they deserve at leats that much respect

    alright bud
perez won the recent prizefighter international but have heard **** all since i think hes not far off being able to gain irish citenzenship and if he does he"d be eligible for a europeon title shot

no news on the other 2 which is a pity because garcia coulkd go the furthest imho and acosta/collado(as he seems to be calling himself nowadays) is smack in the middle of a thriving superbantemweight division in ireland/england with great fights that could be made with people like casey hyland frampton munroe and jason booth
