I think Ortiz will try to fight the pressure fight he fought against Berto. Against Peterson he was getting caught when he threw from distance trying to get closer. Floyd has also said he's going to stand in front of Ortiz. I would be pretty surprised Floyd Gatti'd Ortiz, but not shocked.

Apart from a big maybe on power what makes Ortiz better than Marqeuz or Hatton? This is going one way only and thats Floyd completly taking Ortiz to pieces and would not be shocked if Floyd stopped him. Ortiz style is made for Floyd and there is maybe two guys around 140/147 that actually have a style that MAY and its a big MAY cause Floyd some trouble. But as for Ortiz he has earned his self a massive payday and i have no doubt Ortiz will try his best but im going to predict a few things here....

Ortiz sucess rate will be no higher than 15%
    Mayweather sucess rate around 60%

    :rofl:rofl

Does not have that type of skill nor timing:deal

Floyd should be able to control the fight with his speed and timing...I also think Floyd has quicker hands and better movement.

I like Floyd to rough him up inside from time to time and then box and move from time to time...basically confuse the kid as he'll never know if Floyd will be "boxing" or if he'll be "coming forward behind the jab."

No Gatti treatment. Ortiz is young, strong, probably weight more fight night. Hes gonna put up a damn fight and keep coming foward. He will get hit with alot of punches but not like Gatti did

I don't remember him saying that, but I do remember him saying the Marquez fight was a tuneup.

I'd be very surprised. It would make the top story for the local news. Sprinkles of rain is always headline news here.

I would like a minimum of 3 examples from Floyd's career that makes
you think that he will even get dropped let alone stopped.
Have more respect for fighters and their craft please.

It's an opinion. There weren't 3 examples from Roy Jones Jr's career that would make you think he would be stopped by Tarver.

He might beat Ortiz's ass but he won't retire him, Ortiz will be back and have further success, proving the legitimacy of the easy Mayweather win
