The referee needs to go back to school... he doesn't realise what a low blow is. I think Agbeko was robbed... grave injustice. If knockdown and the 25-30 low blows were acknowledged the outcome would be different.

Abner Low Blow Mares should be ashamed... hes no champ. King Kong needs a rematch. Wht say guys?

The Ref is perfectly aware of what a low blow is he just chose a golden boy cheque over upholding the laws of the sport...shameful!

You cannot even make the argument, that Mares would have won that fight fair and square... Everybody talked about the injuries etc. that Agbeko would have to overcome to win tonight, before the fight, but he had way more left in the tank in the second half of the fight, even after suffering numerous low blows... I'm wondering if he would actually be able to stop Mares in a rematch.

This fight was disgusting, plain and simple... Mora never was a good ref, I mean, how could he even be appointed for this fight, after he let Montiel continue against Donaire in the second round? I have never seen anything like this, Bowe-Golota comes to mind, but that ended with a disqualification and rightly so, so there's no comparison really.

I used to like Mares, but I refuse to recognize him as a champion today. This fight enhances his career on paper, but Agbeko will be praised by all for his efforts... He never even complained until the 11th round, when he got another ridiculous count. I mean, seriously, the IBF must demand an immediate rematch, so Donaire can fight for bantam supremacy against a worthy opponent.

I agree with all you ay but I believe the praise he recieves as the victim of a robbery is not going to enhance his career as Golden Boy hold the keys to a rematch (which he won't get!) and Donaire(no way this fight will be made). His career is going to suffer as a result of this injustice!
