Dan Hardy has ****ing weak boxing his head movement and footwork is **** and he kept on getting caught by that looping right, and all he was throwing was his left hook, which Lytle could clock a mile away I like Hardy but he fell off...or was he always overrated?
Who is next in line for a lightweight title shot then? Guida or Henderson? Whoever it isn't should be fighting Cerrone I think, the guy's great to watch and deserves a big fight.
If Guillard defeats him, sure; but I don't know how you can say he surely above him now. Henderson's record was on par with Guillard's going into last night's fight. Henderson now has a better win than any one on Guillard's current resume.
Pretty poetic ending tbh and I think he should be cut. He came out smelling of roses against gsp for not tapping but showing an awful ground game, he got took out by Condit, Johnson outwrestled him (thank god he didnt stand with him) and in the Lytle fight he showed no improvement in either the stand up or ground. Awful takedown, awful boxing and its kinda sad he went out tapping after not doing so against gsp. But what more good is he if he is shockingly bad on the ground and is really sloppy on his feet. At least he didnt get kod, i was a bundle of ****ing nerves during the fight, Fedor fan style.
Dan Hardy, is probably the coolest looking MMA fighter, which is something of a consolation for him. But he was in that same funny cycle that Akiama was, whereby the more you lose, the higher up the card you go, and the harder opponent you face. That matchup was crazy, even though he did a very reasonable job and brought it as they say.
