He's still more deserving, and better, than Ortiz.
Khan got rocked by Maidana, and then won. If you hold that against him, you have to hold the fact that Ortiz was down two or three times against Berto,
and you certainly have to consider the fact that Khan ultimately beat Maidana, while Ortiz got KO'd by him.

This is a stupid argument. Khan is way better than Ortiz.

This just pisses *****s off because it's more and more evidence that among real boxing people, Floyd has developed this reputation. And in years to come, he won't be talked about as one of the GOATs, because he refused to step in with the best of his era and prove it.

As he's been against most his former opponents yet it never stopped him from fighting guys like Baldomir, Sharmbe, Gatti, Bruseles, etc...

    Your point?

If Floyd elects not to fight Khan, it isn't because he's "ducking him." Why would he? Other than pure handspeed, Floyd surpasses this kid in virtually every other attribute a boxer can summon to defeat his opponent (accuracy, footwork, ring generalship ect.).

If Floyd does fight Khan, he counters him all night long enroute to an easy decision.

Rematch with Maidana or Prescott Amir is what you call avoiding. Will Khan enter once again with either of those or even with a guy like Lucas?

The Maidana was no sweep and Khan was in trouble at times, I bet the majority of us will like to see a rematch. A lot of fighters and great champs try to rematch their opponents who they have lost to or even won by thin margins. Prescott hasnt done anything much agree but is the one guy that KO Khan in a matter of seconds:deal And no its like saying Manny facing Marquez for the third, I wonder why:deal Close fights make interesting rivalries and many greats go through it, even Floyd had to avenge his controversial win over Castillo. Get the point:patsch

I see this being closer than others think, Khan can decision him no doubt.

Ortiz and Maidana should rematch at 147, with the winner facing Khan. The winner of that should then face Mayweather.

A first fight with Mayweather at 147 would be a stupid fight to take.
