Frustrated about this sorry to hear Steve I think it is certainly worth thinking about doing an independent podcast if there are any further cuts.

With the Main Event boxing show getting a slot on Prem sports Buncey is there no way you can get Bunceys boxing hour on the channel aswell?

There has been a lot of talk for about two years. There are some real things happening, not two-bob efforts that will backfire if they are not properly put together.

    Adios.

Absolutely appauled by this, i will definately be seding an email expressing this. The boxing hour is a mil;estone in my week! It really baffles me how the BBC can think it is acceptable to cut something that has proved overwhelmingly popular ?! Especially in a time when the country is in such a state of disrepair it needs boxing as a platform to help those with nothing...Gutted

Unfortunatley, i can see where they are coming from. As excellent as the Boxing Hour is, the simple truth is that football is much more popular than boxing as a mainstream sport.

so does this mean that the boxing hour stays, but in a much less frequent form?

    Modest,
You are right. It looks like there will be seven Thursday nights between now and Christmas without the Boxing Hour.

    Adios.
